We don't have pics from 12154, but we do for 12158. 12158 has the bed near the bathroom. 12156 would have the bed near the balcony. So 12154 would, again, have the bed by the bathroom.

I got my Royal Up bid on a Junior Suite from an Oceanview Balcony. I forgot there were new cabins in this ship and got one of the ones that are in the front crown area (so I pretty much screwed up as the balconies don't directly overlook the water, which is disappointing). Live and learn, I guess.

With Alaska, always plan to layer (inside and out). My last cruise to Alaska had 83-degree temperatures in all of the Alaskan ports ... in May. Inside the ship tends to be in the low 70s always.

Yes, they do. The Quantum-class ships originally had something called "Dynamic Dining", and there are 4 separate dining rooms, all with different visual themes. However, now they all serve the same menu as each other (and the rest of the fleet). 2 of the rooms are set aside for MyTime and 2 are for traditional. But everyone gets the same menus. Enjoy!

It's under VIP Passes, but I don't see the option on my first Icon sailing. It's on my June sailing. So if it's not there, I suspect it's sold out.

Nobody here will know for sure. They can are often not rejected until you set sail. It's also possible that there aren't actually any rooms available. Basically, just bid what you are willing to pay and then just hope for the best.

Agreed. It was one of the very few things I liked about NCL. The white towels are too small to be of any use to anyone. The blue towels are nice and big. I get it. LOL
