Specialty reservation time before boarding time.

Yes..either connect to wifi and book in the app or go to the dining kiosk or a specialty restaurant to book them. -
Curious, B2B but second leg final payment due first?
AshleyDillo replied to RCIfan1912's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
1 to 4 days is 75 days. 5 and more is 90 days. 15 and more is 120 days. -
+1 I'd be interested to hear if the onboard Genies are seeing any improvements. I know they were excited about the change to lighten their load, but frustrated in the initial execution. I know our Genie tried to remain diplomatic in discussing it but there was a lot of head scratching with all the misunderstandings.

Sailing the 8th or 23rd of February
AshleyDillo replied to Ampurp85's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Yikes..I come back on the 8th on Norwegian Gem. Explains why we won't be at the normal NCL terminal, though. -
I've made reservations with the dining package via the Cruise Planner. I had to go to the menu that opens under your initials in the corner and then choose Order History. It should show you a list of all your Cruise Planner purchases. You'd look at the details under the one for Unlimited Dining Package. Mine gives the option to Modify, Cancel, and View reservations. Choosing modify gives me the options to choose reservations for each day of the cruise.

You have to upgrade it to get points. I think even if you only pay $1, you'll still get the points.

Icon - Must do - must see - must eat?

No equivalent to Solarium Bistro, but the Surfside Eatery served breakfast. It's a small buffet with a lot of kid friendly items, but a lot of people don't realize they serve breakfast so it can be quieter at the beginning of the cruise before the word spreads. Pearl Cafe has a grab and go section which is great to grab something to take back to the room or someplace quiet to enjoy. They have sandwiches and salads and healthier snacks like veggies and dip or hummus. There's also a case with items that need to be heated up. -
St. Kitts has a little port area with shops and restaurants. It's not that big. I haven't left the port area by foot, so I don't know if there's much worth walking to outside of the port area. I did the train ride as a Royal excursion there and enjoyed it as a way to be lazy and sit and see a lot of the landscape. It did get a bit long in the tooth by the end, though. I wouldn't do it by myself again though I enjoyed it.

We used to get pushback about having meals from a restaurant delivered to the room for lunch on embarkation day, so don't be surprised if they defer you from it. I think it has something to do with room service not starting until the evening and those are the staff that they use to run the meals. If the Genie has the time, they could act as the runner and possibly make it happen but embarkation day is busy. Any other day of the week they would make it happen. We usually do Playmakers for embarkation day lunch for the people watching on the boardwalk, so my vote would be for Sabor based on location. We do all specialty except for filet night when we sail Star Class. The good thing about having the Genie is that it's a quick WhatsApp message if you change your mind for a meal or a show and they can usually work to get you in wherever you want to go if you're a normal sized party.

You don't earn points on the freeplay..the points start accumulating once you eat into your winnings. I like to cash out each time I win anything and see exactly how much $ I turned it into. I think it may have to do with the ice rink since it's on 4 and all that backs up to Studio B. Also I heard the shuttle between the ports do the airport runs too so that may be why you have those tags. -
There's not much immediately in the secure port area but there's a little bit of local stuff to walk to immediately outside the port. It felt safe when I was there last April. I consider the tender ride to land as a free excursion, too

We ate at Qsine last night which is the Le Petit Chef experience. I'm not sure why my mother insists on these dining experiences where everything is pre-plated. She ended up ordering just plain lobster with some vegetables and then sat there while we had 3 other courses to eat Alternative menu I didn't take photos of the food because I was lazy and it was bad enough with my mother there with an empty plate each course It's a cute experience..a one-and-done if you had to pay for it in my opinion. There was a kid at the table next to us who was excited about all the animations. There was also another couple behind us loudly narrating what was happening in the animation, so kudos to them if I was visually impaired.

MLK would be our date..I have to wait 2 weeks til they announce my music charter sailing date to see if it conflicts or if I'm free.

I think she is. She likes the non-smoking casino and the fact that the product is something different. They've been able to accommodate her dietary needs on the spot. She's trying to get me to commit to an Xcel sailing in 2026.

Bwahaha...I seriously LOLed loud enough to startle my mother awake -
I'm not an Effy fan like some folks, but it's for their 45th anniversary. This is what a full locket should look like according to the ones for sale on eBay.

Back to sea...I prefer to end my sailings with sea days and we get 2 of them on the way back to Port Canaveral.

We were just there on Equinox yesterday and it still looks just like the photo - missing the link to the dolphin on the side the Oasis class ships use. We were docked on the other side of that pier.

We are supposed to leave in 2 minutes but we have new neighbors pulling in. This is P&O Iona which is a big ship (5200 passengers). They weren't originally scheduled to be here. Their itinerary is a 35-day round-trip sailing from Southampton. They were in the Canary Islands on January 16 and are scheduled for Tortola tomorrow. That's an Aida ship sharing the dock they're pulling into.
