Is it 4 night Mariner? They are modifying done of them to gave 2 stops at CoCo Cay and for those, they are currently not showing for bookings.

Same here...both Navigator and Anthem jumped up to $86 CAD (which is $65 USD). That's crazy. (Anthem was up there to begin with, but Navigator was at $65 CAD 2 weeks ago and then $69 CAD last week...so up to $86 is a huge jump). Funny thing for us...we grabbed the $18 price for our 2 cruises next year, which includes Anthem. But then it got us thinking...DH and I have Adventure this Dec and that one is without our kids so it would be the one cruise where the drink package would be great. So we ended up treating ourselves and purchased it for Adventure (note that we never get the DBP). Then literally the next day, there was the spike up to $73 CAD for Adventure. Talk about lucky. (And so the $18 blunder made us get 3 packages in the end, which we never would have gotten). So wonder if labor day sale will just bring the price back down to what it was prior to this spike...and then people will jump on buying packages? P-S. - Our Key for Anthem is also ridiculous at $50 CAD.

Navigating Our Way To Allure - 8/12-8/25
WannaCruise replied to IslandBoundMama's topic in Live Blogs
What an amazing cruise line up, and long waited. Glad you've gotten past your medical issues. Sounds like trip will be great for you. We are on Navigator in 2 weeks so really look forward to your review. And how great you are following it with Allure. Enjoy your 2 cruises! -
I'm so jeoulous of you...but in a good way of course. ? That's so awesome you'll be on her again!...but with a different itinerary! Have an amazing cruise! P.S. - What site do you use for hurricane watches? We'll be on Navigator in 2 weeks and crossing my fingers and toes that weather is calm and no disruptions.

Is this for a 4 night Mariner cruise? They are modifying some of them to have 2 stops at CoCo Cay and that is what I get if I try to go into 'plan your cruise' for it. It's just for this specific cruise (i.e. I can go into to book items for my other cruises). Some people (as we did) got emails informing them that changes are coming starting Aug 7th. Not clear why it's taking so long...
-
Pricing is funny. On our Navigator cruise the deluxe drink package is $65. Then I'll get an email of 30% off and it's still $65.
-
I'll be printing this list out and taking it with me. ?
-
Ditto. Our waterpark tickets on 3 of our sailings are $105 CAD each. Like you, pretty expensive for a family of 4. No way we'll be purchasing for both days.
-
We'll book aft over forward as I think it has less ship movement? The one place I often feel the ship is in the theatre, which us forward. Also we live aft as it's closet to windjammer and dining and often activities that we go to (e.g. on Mariner, waterslides and SkyPad).
-
Our 4 night Mariner is affected too. Aside from the 3 day cruises, I don't think this is common. Guess a trial? Not sure how I feel about it. Good Will lesson crowds on the ship (compared with a sea day) Flexible if you just want to enjoy the beach, big pool again or food options Can pick one day as waterpark day and one day as relaxing beach/pool day (definitely not both as park is very $$$) Bad I enjoy watching the water as she ship moves - won't be much of that (just at night) We enjoy sea days taking advantage of the ship with lots of activities going on compared with port days - so less activities if all port days? For this specific cruise, we have aft balcony....so won't be able to watch wake as much Can see the advantage for Royal though...more excursions purchased, cheaper keeping ship still for a day

Thank you! Never noticed that little settings icon . (Didn't help to update anything but at least I know where to find the sign out now) -

When Does Royal App Update?

Funny how it works. We actually booked Escape room awhile ago on Navigator on cruise planner (for DS and DH). No rhyme or reason for when they release stuff. I'm the same and actually leave my phone in the stateroom and carry around the paper compass. Was just hoping for a preview of the activities (although it doesn't really matter as we have traditional dining so not like we're even trying to book dinner around show times). Good idea. Thanks. Let me take a look and see if there's a 4 day Navigator posted. Very annoying. Where is the log out option? I can't even find the spot to try signing out and back in. -

To BOGO or Not To BOGO (keep or cancel)
WannaCruise replied to WannaCruise's topic in Royal Caribbean Dining
Yeah...if we used it, it would be Chops and Giovanni's. Have heard great things of 150 Central Park. Lol...like your cruise depression suggestion. Thanks! This is just a 4 night Navigator cruise but maybe it will be on the 'Dress Your Best' night? -
When Does Royal App Update?

Nothing. Just interested in seeing when shows are scheduled and activities going on in the day. -
We are only 3 weeks away from our Navigator cruise and all that is showing in Royal App are things you can book such as Escape room and Excursions. When does it typically update? The Refresh does nothing. I was going to try and sign out and back in but cannot find that option.

To BOGO or Not To BOGO (keep or cancel)
WannaCruise replied to WannaCruise's topic in Royal Caribbean Dining
Would you believe we're still deciding what to do with BOGO on Navigator? We're only 3 weeks out. ? Our DS wants to cancel as he really likes the MDR. DH kind of wants to keep our BOGO...only because we'll never get BOGO again for the cost at $50 CAD each. Dining has shot way up. DD and I are on the fence, but if we do BOGO, then that is 2 our of 4 nights....and it's kind of nice getting to know your waiter at the MDR. (Plus what night do they have the 50th celebration dessert? That in itself seems pretty neat). -
Awesome...thank you both.
-
Thanks! Lol...just found it on the map and of course that's furthest from the water park (although not far from that huge pool, which I know our kids will want to spend time in too).
-
I've heard that you can get veggie sandwiches and items on CoCo Cay, but anyone know where to go (places that are included)? I've seen basic menus posted (e.g. Snack Shack ) and it seems to just have hot dogs, burgers and chicken sandwiches. Also, anywhere to get chicken fingers (that one is for my kids)? Thanks. P.S. - This place looks amazing with so many options of things to do and food.

Empress B2B 14 nights On The Biggest Little Ship July 2019
WannaCruise replied to twangster's topic in Live Blogs
Wow...amazing pictures as always. Gonna show my kids the CoCo Cay ones to get them extra excited for our upcoming cruise. And looks like I can leave my camera on the ship as you captured enough pictures for me to use for a trip photobook I always create after vacations (just kidding). What ship are you going on in August? -
How to best utilize the Drink Package
WannaCruise replied to FloridaCruiseGirl1210's topic in Royal Caribbean Dining
This is what I'm struggling with. First, let me say that we were lucky and got the $18 package on 2 cruises next year. Yah. But it's addicting....and so would love to have it for the one cruise in Dec that is just DH and I (the ones next year are with our kids and so don't want to give bad image ordering much). DH could break even, but for me, without the package I'll have a glass of wine at dinner (where we bring 2 bottles without the package - and also have the bogo c&a offer), and maybe a cocktail in the evening or day. With the package, I could see myself having an afternoon cocktail, wine at dinner and evening cocktail, would have a specialty coffee (maybe try with bailey's added) and bottled water on port days to take with us. I don't drink juice or soda. However, I have a sensitive stomach and too much alcohol / sugar drinks can make me nauseous (had Ben & Jerry room last year and took advantage of suite lounge and my stomach paid for it...but then again, the drinks were in a short time). Having said that...to your point above...with the package I love the freedom of trying new drinks (I've noted many different drinks on here to try, plus experimenting with wines I typically wouldn't order is another adv). Could order something without thinking twice...and then not feel obligated to finish it if I didn't like it or was full. -
Amazing blog. So great to hear you loved Symphony (with some things better, some better on sister ship and some can't tell the difference) and were able to relax. Lol...I noticed you kept showing El Loco Fresh. So verdict...did you end up trying the chocolate dulce de leche? Also..have yet to go on Harmony (Mar 2021) so can't compare if it's on Harmony like this as well, but did you see all the art work on the stair cases, interactive art and those crystals by open elevator area? That's one thing that stood out for me on Symphony. Happy anniversary again. Thanks for sharing your live review. Seems like a wonderful cruise!
