  1. Their promo videos and photos show people with GoPros going down the zipline. We made that argument with the operators but it didn't work.
  2. It all boils down to what the operators will say.
  3. Rachelle, sorry to hear about what happened to your business. The content on this thread clearly shows that you were not trying to scam anyone. If possible, the thread should not deleted just in case the same thing happens again. But the title should be changed to something like "Confusion over Caribbean Paddling in Saint Martin". My two cents...
  4. During our time, we were told that due to the weather conditions, they were not allowed.
  5. The price varies. You can save as much as 20-30% by purchasing it online before sailing. It’s $12.99 per day at the moment.
  6. From what I understand, the All-Digital Package is just photo files, no prints. EDIT: My bad
  7. I'm still considering my birthday cruise for November 2019. I have my eyes on the 8-night Empress sailing for November 15th.
  8. I do not know the answer to your question but do you still have the emails you got from Royal for your past cruises? You might have the information you need in those emails. Another option is to call Customer Service. I'm sure they have information about your past sailings.
  9. Did you know about the Cruise Compass section in this blog? Unfortunately, the latest upload for the Serenade was for a Transatlantic, so it might not be what you get on a regular sailing. https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/cruise-compass?ship=285
  10. Here's an idea. They can keep offering the complimentary in-room movies but just offer a few titles: 1. Titanic 2. Poseidon Adventure (1972) 3. Poseidon (2006) 4. Speed 2: Cruise Control 5. The Perfect Storm 6. Captain Phillips 7. Life of Pi 8. Adrift 9. Under Siege
  11. But ... but ... but.... I fish out the chicken pieces in the chicken noodle soup!!! ha ha
  12. Same here. They closed all their restaurants in my city too. I think we had three.
  13. That's the kind of sign I wanted to make. Sweet Tomatoes has them in playing card sizes.
  14. From what I know, the All-Digital Photo Package is per stateroom. You get all the pictures taken by the ship photographers. I did not pay much attention to it, but there is a sign in the photo gallery that says you can download the pictures directly to your device. They offer discounts for pre-cruise purchases so it would be best to order it before your sailing. The worth of the package depends on how much you value pictures. One word of advice, since you're getting a digital package, you may want to print them when you get home. Make sure to secure a Release Form for the pictures. Some companies/stores like Sam's, Costco, and Kinko's may ask for it when you print the pictures.
  15. @guittech, try providing info on your ship and sail dates. There might be members who are sailing on it right now or have sailed on it very recently who can give you the information you need.
  16. For the stage shows featuring the onboard performing company, they are more predictable. Past Cruise Compasses can provide information on these shows. But for the comics, magicians, single performers, and even bands, it looks like they don't stay on the ships for too long. An Aerosmith tribute (aka copycat) band performed on the Ovation while I was on it. Then I saw them on the same plane as mine heading to Atlanta.
  17. I tried it for all the rooms I've stayed in on Harmony, Majesty, Serenade, Mariner, and Ovation. It's only on the Ovation that it did not work. @Matt, I don't know if we have one already, but with 10,000+ members on this message boards, I think we can work on a comprehensive database of staterooms using crowd-sourced data. I get information from cruisedeckplans and other sites, but I think it would be cool to have our own ... my two cents.
  18. Hasn't Royal Caribbean realized that we know their BOGOHO promo means nothing as far as getting a good deal?
  19. Looks like @WAAAYTOOO's procedure does not work for the room layout on the Ovation. I was in 3548, an ocean view room, where the bed was by the window. Could the procedure apply only to balcony rooms?
  20. I tried making a visual representation of @WAAAYTOOO's procedure. I'm hoping somebody can confirm if we got it right.
  21. I tried gleaning some information from this thread
  22. I've been wondering about this myself. Does it have anything to do with the room code?
  23. For the Odyssey Inaugural, Surf & Stream for 1 Device is at $21.99
  24. These were from a review of Stateroom 12329 on the Harmony (same location on the Symphony)
  25. This stateroom 11729 on the Harmony is in a very similar location to 12329 on the Symphony. At around the 2:45 mark, they show views from the "obstructed" balcony.
