  1. Solo cruises have to pay a single supplement fee of either 150% or 200% and they will get 2 points per night for staying in balcony or below, and if a solo cruiser is staying in a suite then they will get 3 points per night.
  2. I think that it was offered on day 3 or day 4.
  3. I was on Harmony in April & they did sell the drink card that allows you to drink 10 alcoholic drinks. I will be on Harmony again next April and I hope that they sell the alcoholic drink card again.
  4. How to I redeem MyVEGAS rewards points toward a Royal Caribbean cruise that I had already booked several years ago???
  5. I thought that once it is the date final payment for the cruise that no other payment can be made toward the booking has been paid, not even just for pre-paying gratuities after the final payment date, but that’s how it is with the cruise lines that RC owns & with all 10 cruise lines that Carnival Corporation owns, but maybe other cruise lines allow you to pre-pay gratuities after final payment date
  6. I did the exact same thing as you did when I booked my first 3 cruise I selected not to pre-pay gratuities & then several months later I’ve decide to pre-pay gratuities so I tried to add the gratuities to the reservation myself but I did not see the option to add pre-paid gravities online so I had to call RC and give them my reservation # & told them that I would like to pre-pay gratuities. The only way to pre-pay gratuities after you have put a deposit down is to call RC & provide them with your reservation # & tell them that you would like to pre-pay the gratuities.
  7. Both my mother & I are enrolled in C&A, & we both have our own member #, but only I have a have an online account & when we first started cruising in 2014 I had created an online account with my name as the account holder and with my C&A member # & once the account was created I was able to add my mother onto my C&A account using her name and member #, so that only 1 person has a cruise planner account. YOU CANT GAVE THE SAME C&A NUMBER BECAUSE RC DOES NOT ALLOW MULTIPLE PEOPLE TO HAVE THE EXACT SAME C&A #. You each have to have a C&A member # if you both want to enjoy the same benefits like a free day of internet (when purchased onboard durning the cruise), bogo drinks when you are high enough in the C&A program and at any level of the C&A program you will discounts on RC merchandise that is purchased in the RC shop onboard any ship that has the ship name or company logo anywhere on the item, expect for items that are purchased in the Royal promenade when the ship has an end of cruise sale
  8. On 4 different occasions I have added a debit card to my sea pass account each of those 4 separate times & another time I have added a credit card to my sea pass account and when I added a debit card to my sea pass all 4 times & also when I added a credit card to my sea pass I did not have any pre-authorization holds on my credit card & debit card.
  9. I have put a credit Card attached to my sea pass account one 4 different cruises and not once did I have a pre-authorized hold on my credit card any of the 4 times that I added a credit card to my sea pass card/account The daily charge amount is $500 a day per person for 7+ night sailings & $300 a day for 2 - 5 night sailings, if you go over the daily limit the cruise ship will charge your credit card that is linked with your sea pass card once you have reached the daily limit on your sea pass account. Once you reached the daily limit the ship will call the guest to inform them that the daily limit has been reached and that they need to pay their bill so that you can continue to charge things to your sea pass account & your sea pass account has been paid after reaching the daily limit you can begin charging things to your sea pass account again the same day that you pay your sea pass account once you have reached the daily limit for each day of your cruise.
  10. Yes, you can make a selection thru the above link in the post above you even if you are booked thru a TA & you did not need to go thru the TA & you do get a confirmation of you choice and that what you have chosen has been recorded.
  11. It takes 3-5 business days to receive the refund back to your credit/debit card, and if you used any IBC to pay for those items on the cruise planner then you will receive the OBC back to your cruise account right away.
  12. RC sent out an email to people who booked a cruise on one of the Oasis Class ships and has selected. Central Park or Boardwalk balcony after January 1st, 2020, that they have the option of getting the $50 OBC that they offered 2 days ago because they had discontinued the dine...Drink...discover program, & yesterday they sent out another email that gave people who are booked in the Central Park balconies and made the reservation for those balconies before September 18th, 2020 now have the option for get the $50 or be grandfathered into the dine...drink...discover program that RC is discontinuing.
  13. The receipt for all the items that you purchase before your cruise is listed under the tab that says order history and should be printed out when you have finalized your cruise planner purchase or you cruise is about 1 week away or whichever comes first. To view what you purchased you must click (if you are on a computer) on order history, or tap (if you are using a mobile device) on order history.
  14. You can call RC if you want to be on hold for a long time or you can login to the cruise planner and click on the section that says order history and you can cancel the drink package online and the money will go back to your credit/debit card within 3-5 days or if you used any OBC the OBC will be posted back to your account immediately. After you cancel the refreshment packages then you can repurchase them for the lower price, which can also be done online. in my opinion canceling items online and then repurchasing them for the lower price/cancelling items and not repurchasing them, I think is much faster then calling RC and doing it over the phone with a RC representative. I have done this about a few hundred times and each time I cancelled a cruise planner item online because I changed my mind, and I also cancelled some items that I had precooked and then cancelled the same items and rebooked them @ the cheaper price. You can also reschedule any excursions that you want to go on but choose a different time then the time you lent to choose and you can select time that you really want. When I had booked the Unlimited dining package for my April 2019 cruise on Harmony, I had accidentally selected the wrong time & yesterday I had rescheduled the unlimited dining package for the time that I had meant to select when I originally booked the ultimate dining package.
  15. The same things that you want to know for your first cruise without your parents is the same things that I wanted to know back in 2014 when I booked my mom’s & Aunt’s 5th cruise, family friend’s 1st cruise & my 2nd cruise that was the first time that I had booked a cruise on my own. That was also the first time that I had done the online checkin for my mom & I buy myself which I thought was harder RC’s current online checkin process because with the complete change of their website all of the passenger information is asked one screen for each passenger which is easier then the old online checkin system. I would check in my bigger checked bag if I were you because then you don’t have to wheel your leg gage around until staterooms are ready. If you do check your bigger luggage in I would definitely put the items that You will need for the first few hours in your carry-on in case your luggage does not arrive until after you have dinner. The travel documents that you should put if your carry-on is: the proper travel visa allowing you enter the US (if you are not from the US), Birth Certificate & Drivers License or Naturalized citizen Certificate/Green Card (if not born in the US but moves to the US after you were born) & Drivers License or a passport book or a passport card. Also put your swimsuit in your carry-on if your going to give your checked bag(s) to the porters, and you would like to go swimming soon after you board the ship on embarkation day. If you are driving to port everglades then you would not have to pay for parking until disembarkation and the cruise is over. Google how much is port everglades parking and it should tell you how much parking at port is, also google offsite cruise parking port everglades, and look at a variety of places that offer parking and shuttles to and from port everglades and if they are cheaper than parking at the port then consider parking at an offsite cruise parking facility. Hope pe this helps. Hope you have fun on the cruise without your parents.
  16. I was on Oasis in December 2018 & Harmony in April 2019 & until a few months ago I was with Verizon & I did purchase the Voom Surf & Stream & I knew that I was going to use my phone while I was in other countries so I called Verizon & told them that I was going out of the country and would like the travel pass to be added to my account. The travel pass that Verizon offers can be added to your Verizon account and you will not be charged for having the travel pass on the account but you will be charged $10 a day for each device that makes a call or sends & receives text messages while in another country I have had the travel pass that is offered by Verizon on my Verizon account for about 7 months which I was not charged for using the service of the travel pass because I did not do any kind of international travel between the middle of December 2018 & late April/ early May 2019 and when I got back from my travels in early May until I switched cellular providers sometime in July 2019 IF YOU CALL VERIZON AND TELL THEM THAT YOU ARE GOING TO BE TRAVELING THEN THEY WILL ASK YOU WHERE YOUR GOING AND YOU CAN ONLY USE YOUR PHONE AT THE COUNTRIES THAT YOU TELL THEM YOU WILL BE VISITING BUT IF ADD THE TRAVEL PASS TO YOUR ACCOUNT THEN YOU DO NOT HAVE TO CALL THEM EACH TIME THAT YOU TRAVEL ABROAD. AND YOU ONLY BE CHARGED $10 PER DAY FOR THE ENTIRE DAY ON THE DAYS THAT YOU USE YOUR CELL PHONE.
  17. There is at least 1 U.S electrical outlet in every cabin that is 110V. Also in every cabin the plug that is next to the US electrical outlets is Is a European style outlet which is 220V.
  18. The Oasis Lagoon cabana’s is $999 per cabana but The thrill waterpark on Perfect day cococay are $499.99 per cabana.
  19. Next RC cruise is 04/26/2020 on harmony Previous RC cruises: 09/12/2013 on Enchantment, 11/30/2014 on Enchantment, 12/02/2018 on Oasis, 04/28/2019 Harmony.
  20. RC serves tap water in the MDR & speciality restaurants at meal time. Before your cruise you can login to the cruise planner and if you would like to you can order a case or 2 of Evian water in either a pack of 12 for $39 or a pack of 24 for $60-$78; which I think is a 1 time cost for either size pack of Evian water. All of the Evian water bottles cruise in the pack are 1 liter. The bars will give you an off brand of bottled water or you can ask for a bottle of Evian water (if you ship will sell Evian water by the bottle).
  21. Correct. Since you said that you are traveling with kids that are under 21, I would book a suite especially if the kids are infants and will be sleeping in a crib pack & play in the same room as the adults. If your kids are able to sleep in an adult bed then book multiple connecting rooms to your room or directly across the hall, but. If you want all of the adults & kids to be in the same room then book a suite that has multiple bedrooms. In my opinion booking a suite is worth the extra money because you get a bigger balcony then if you were to be in a balcony room, more space in the room, priority boarding on embarkation, robes are provided in your room for use while you are onboard the ship, complementarity drink packages, can eat all meals at the Coastal kitchen which is for people staying in a suite) and much more.
  22. I have herd on the news that since Dorian has missed Florida that gas is easier to find because most of the gas stations have been resupplied with gas.
