Always need more recon. . . and cowbell! From the posts I'm reading it seems like the "saving the good wine until the end" kind of thing. So, definitely interested in everyone's perspective. THANK YOU! That can't be spring break already in Canada, no?

Hi Jane. When do you sail? Would you mind doing some recon, e.g., photos and your impressions? Liz

Canada Place Terminal Shuttle

Is this the Amtrak train station that is next door? We will be taking the Cascade service to Seattle later in the day. -
I haven't seen much comment on these message boards regarding Samba. We have the Ultimate Dining package for our July Radiance sailing. What are your impressions if you've dined at this specialty dining restaurant?

Where is this offered? Cruise planner? Alaska? Vancouver? Bayonne? -
Never get them. Do get Celebrity, but never RCL.

Where do you reserve this? Didnt see it on the cruise planner. Thinking we may prefer it to the train.

That "Haute & Steamy" is sounding absolutely delish right now. It's 6 F outside and could use some "Haute & Steamy!" GO CHEIFS!!!!

When we are in Skagway next summer, we are scheduled for two excursions for the day: the White Pass train from 8:10 to 11:25 AM and then Ziplining from 1:40 to 5:40 PM. Any ideas as to meeting places? Since we will already be off the ship, do they have a meeting place on pier for those folks? Given that there are roughly 1:45 minutes of lunch time in there, do we eat lunch in port or go back to the ship? pinging @KJ1231 @twangster

If you have the RCL Visa by Bank of America, you'll need to go to the Bank of America website, login, and put those rewards points in the shopping cart and check out. Hopefully, you're not too late.

Yep. Go for the dead net cost.

The first few pictures look like daycare for older kids. . . No sharp edges, just alcohol and showers. . . hmmmm

Question for seasoned Alaska cruisers
Baked Alaska replied to Baked Alaska's topic in Shore Excursions
What time of day did you go? Was it crowded? Family gets back from excursion at 4, ship leaves at 9. -
For lunch/dinner in Juneau: Tracy's Crab Shack or The Hanger?

Did you do the Vancouver hop on/hop off (or on your own ?) and then get on the Cascade service to Seattle? Where did you stay in Seattle and how did you get from the train station to your hotel? I think our train arrives in Seattle around 10:30 pm.

Anyone with cruise insurance claims experience...?
Baked Alaska replied to AlohaLivin's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
If you have "cancel for any reason" on your policy, you should be fine. Why not call your insurer and ask if this shutdown is covered? Sorry that this is happening to your family. -
Deep thoughts a la Jack Handy: Life really is a buffet of choices. Some tasty and some fowl. . . ?
