  1. We have the UDP for our Alaska southbound sailing. Purchased at $126/pp Black Friday sale. Question, can you tell me if there would be an evening where we should actually schedule a My Time Dining MDR reservation instead of one of the specialty restaurants? Side: We are planning on eating in port in Skagway and Juneau.
  2. I wish there was a sad thank you emoji.
  3. How does one schedule say, a massage, during a muster drill? "Okay, wake up! Put your robe on, look out for drafts, go to your muster station. Oh, and come back so I can talk to you about Elemis."
  4. And! It gives the time block only on the first night. I don't want to cancel and rebook the UDP as it is currently $168/pp and I was able to purchase it during BF for $126/pp.
  5. Yes. In my calendar the time given for the Ultimate Dining Package is 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
  6. Looking to see if anything popped up in the Cruise Planner for our Canada/New England sailing in July 2021. Shore excursions are on sale! See below!! That would be a looonnnngggg train ride from New England to Skagway! ?
  7. I would like to schedule spa service for 8:00 PM, however we have the Ultimate Dining Package with a time span of 6:30pm to 8:30pm. When I attempt to book the spa service in the Cruise Planner, it tells me that there is a scheduling conflict. Can I go ahead and schedule the spa service or will it cancel our entire Ultimate Dining Package?
  8. There is a lot of varied fishing options, as well. Find a guide or two on TripAdvisor!
  9. You don't have much time for passport application, if you haven't already got them. If you do, great!! ? Also, a lot of us on these message boards use MEI Travel. @Sharla has been wonderful to work with.
  10. Hello everyone. Just an update on the rescheduling of our shore excursion in Icy Strait Point. Shorex at Royal Caribbean understood my frustration with the rescheduling of our excursion and was kind enough to reschedule, at our previously booked cost, to the time we preferred. As @twangster noted earlier, and I wholeheartedly concur, kindness will really help your cause (paraphrased). Here is their reply: Thank you for your reply!Good news! We were able to re-schedule tour Icy Strait Point Stream Fishing (IC35) 11:00 am departure time. We have placed these spots on hold under your cruise reservation number. We have also honored the rate you had $224 USD per person. To complete this transaction, please contact our Cruise Planning Department at (800) 398-9819 so that we may process your payment and secure your place. As our system can only hold a spot for 72 hours, we urge you to call in at your earliest convenience. Kindly note, these arrangements must be confirmed over the phone; this cannot be done through our website.Thank you for your patience. It is great to have you touring with us!Kind regards,
  11. Hi Todd. I've done something similar. I called RCCL and they fixed it for me. No harm. No foul.
  12. While on another cruiseline, we enjoyed the Green Grotto Caves.
  13. @Matt Yes, I've done modified excursion date and times several times with success. The change would cost more money, which doesn't make sense since both times are the same price. I'll print out, bring with me. Hopefully, the letter will work. They have been super nice and understanding, just that the call center's hands are tied.
  14. Well, almost exactly, but was able to generate the confirmation page above. I modified the excursion, not cancelled. (sorry, just edited, hope you see this in time). I spoke with three reps this morning. All were very kind and all suggested that I send a letter to the Shore Excursion desk. So, here is my letter. If it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen. There are worse things. ? Dear RCCL Shore Excursions desk, Re:XXXXXXX Radiance of the Seas, July 17, 2019 I am writing to you at the suggestion of Marvin at the RCCL Shores Excursions Call Center. Yesterday, I logged into the Cruise Planner and noticed that one of our excursion had a time change. It is the Icy Strait Point Stream Fishing excursion. To date, I have not receive any notification that RCCL had changed our time to 7:00 AM from our original booking at 9:30 AM, which was made initially made back in April or May of 2018. When I checked further on the Cruise Planner, I noticed that there are now two offerings of this excursion at the same price, one being at 7:00 AM (which we have been moved to) and the other occuring at 11:30 AM. I attempted to modify online, was able to bring up a confirmation page that the time was successfully changed, but the calendar did not update. I suspect it has to do with the pricing change from our Black Friday repurchase. Since the time has changed and there are now two times to choose which are have the same price, we believe that we should be given the option to choose our time, especially since both times are the same price. Could I please, kindly request that we be moved to the 11:30 AM time? If you need further information, I am happy to give that to you. Thank you for time and consideration.
  15. @twangster I'm not claiming "bait and switch", rather it's a pun on what happened! It's fishing excursion (bait) and time change (switch)! The order history is incorrect, as well, corresponding with the calendar. And yes, always polite. Being an a$$ to a complete stranger may feel good initially, but because they are a complete stranger, probably thousands and thousands of miles away. . . who will get the last laugh?! Just be nice. It's a nice way to live. Granted, I don't have much tact, but I'm working on that. ? I'm going to go with both excellent suggestions here. I'll call them as @twangster has suggested and I will also print out and bring with me the confirmation page, as @mworkmansuggested. I'll update the thread as I make progress.
  16. I was checking in on our Cruise Planner calendar for our Alaska Radiance sailing when I noticed we have a trout fishing excursion that had a time change, of sorts. We scheduled an excursion that was offered only at one time, 9:30 AM and it was purchased at roughly $40 less than today's pricing during the Black Friday Sale. Now I notice that there are TWO offerings for this excursion, one at 7 AM (this is the time RCL took the liberty of placing us) and one at 11:30 AM (our new preferred time). I modified the date/time portion of the excursion so that we would be going on the 11:30 AM offering. The confirmation page showed that the first one had been cancelled and the new time was confirmed. There was no charge for the difference (to today's pricing). SUCCESS!! HOWEVER! It does not show any change in our Cruise Planner calendar and I have not received a confirmation email (normally, I receive those even before the page refreshes). Any ideas? Do I need to call? Is it a lost cause?
  17. HI all. We reserved the Thermal Suite Couples Pass Week in the Cruise Planner, and chose a time. I didn't put any thought into the time I chose, as I had read that they don't go by those reserved times. And, indeed, it shows "At Your Leisure" in my cruise calendar. I've seen posts as recent as Nov 2018 that says they ARE going by the 15 minute increments. Need some clarification. I'm wondering if I need to change our time, afterall.
  18. Thank you @Lovetocruise2002. That puts my mind at ease.
