  1. Hmmm. Haven't received an email yet, though I did book it sans OBC. But this is nice.
  2. Just purchased our ULTRA Deluxe Beverage Package (I added the ULTRA), now 6 hours after the original post. I chose not to use OBC, just in case they screwed that up, too.
  3. If I reserve Sabor in the CP, which is showing up right now, wonder where I will end up. Probably with a refund.
  4. We would love to take a cruise on Celebrity Flora, however, the suites only permit two people. We are a family of three.
  5. Cruise Bucket List: Alaska plus days in Anchorage : Off the bucket list next month! It's been on my bucket list before I knew what a bucket list was. Galapagos (inside) Japan and south
  6. Nellie's Beach Cabanas just showed up today in my CP. Now we're up to 18 excursions for Labadee.
  7. She was hilarious as Sue Ann on the Mary Tyler Moore show! She and Ted would always be going at it! And what a tie in: Gavin MacLeod (sp?) as Murray Slaughter the writer. . .who became Captain Stubing (sp?) on the Love Boat!
  8. Throw in Eydie Gorme and Steve Lawrence and you've got a Merv Griffin show!
  9. Definitely will be packing the Blues "sweater" hoodies and caps!! Taking convertible pants to shorts so no need for extra shorts. I saw where the temperature was 80F yesterday at one of the ports. Yep, may need to get some NHL Blues Stanley Cup Champs t-shirts! LET'S GO BLUES! Side note: we were at one of our local hangouts for beer, burgers, Blues. . . and trivia night on game 7 night. We got third in trivia. . . defeated some Missouri S&T professors, plus the Blues win. . . that's a win in my book!
  10. Packing bug spray, sun screen, binocs, polarized sunglasses, clothing layers, rain coat and rain pants, water proof hiking boots/shoes, swim suit (hot tub), slippers/flipflops, light packable waterproof backpack, clips for curtains to block out daylight, fleece layers, plus the usual cruise stuff.
  11. This is the EXACT set we purchased. Actually, three sets. I have done a "mock" packing just to check weights and the utility of these. WOW! I'm sold!! Glad I purchased them. My advice to others, is that if you're on the fence about these, buy one set. If you're going on a cruise, they're not expensive. Try them. Heck, just do a mock packing and you'll see why folks are recommending these.
  12. We sort of did this last June (2018). Stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge (not the time share one) for 3 nights and then did the 5 night, double dip to Castaway Cay on Disney Dream. It was a blast. Here's the kicker, stay on property so that you're not wasting time in the parks. On the face, it may seem more expensive, but the time cost alone is worth it (and at Disney your time is their money). Staying on property gets you your fast passes reserved waaay in advance. For Disney parks my thought is "get in, go crazy, and get out ASAP". It's a lot more fun and no miserable kiddos in the heat. The cruise after park days was the way to go. So relaxing. Also, there are transfers to DCL from parks, but they do stop at many resorts before they get to port. We took a car service and was the first family on the ship! Trying RCCL to see if it compares. It think RCCL will exceed my expectations!
  13. SS Norway, March 1985. Loved this ship. We ate at the Captain's table with the Captain and several officers every night! First legal beer at 18 (turned 18 on the cruise), first opportunity to blow my money at the slots, first time eating so many gourmet foods, especially at the Captain's table. Such an opportunity that I didn't understand at 18 years old! https://www.cruisehabit.com/billys-favorite-ships-story-ss-norway-aka-ss-france
  14. It has not budged from $57 since booking in Dec. 2018.
  15. Pardon the pun BUT! Sounds like were in the same boat.
  16. We are on the March 22nd sailing in a Crown Loft. You have zero excursion for Labadee in your CP? or nothing that excites you?
  17. Okay, @tiny260 you've calmed me down! :-) We will be sailing Sky Class, so we will wait. I suspect we won't actually even reserve a cabana, to be honest, if the fishing excursion appears. Thanks for your insight. MAYBE! they'll switch out Labadee with Perfect Day due to construction. . . I'm kinda hoping. :-P
  18. One of Matt's viewer questions on yesterday's YouTube was regarding the refurbishment of Labadee. I wonder if RCCL will be working on the Labadee refurb in March 2020 and that's the reason for less than half of the excursions being shown in the CP?
  19. Agreed. If you're not booked for My Time Dining, then it will not appear in your CP. A quick email or call to your TA should fix that.
  20. Thanks @twangster. I knew I wasn't going crazy (just yet)! The Shorex people sent me the Excursion Catalog PDF and it truly only lists the 17 excursions that have been in my CP since February. I see the 30 excursions on the website "for 2019", but am wondering if they're changing some things up for 2020? However, I will sit tight and wait. I just thought it was odd. Incidentally, I was referring to the Barefoot Beach cabanas as an excursion (since the CP is the purchase portal for the cabanas). I should've been clearer. As always, THANK YOU for your insight and help. Always appreciated!!! Edit: The listings for all Falmouth excursions shows all 59 in my CP. It's just that Labadee is only showing shy of half. Edit #2: When I select to download an Excursion Brochure, it tells me there are no sailings for my dates. Uh. Oh.
  21. I guess you're right? I've been looking at Cruise Compasses, but there are not enough in one class during say a 2 week or 4 week time period for me to evaluate. . .
  22. Reminds me of the Beastie Boys with my own entry: "No Sleep till [cruis'n]"! Never can sleep the night or two before. Have a blast!!!!
  23. Hello all. We will be sailing on Oasis in March 2020 with a stop at Labadee. My cruise planner is showing just 17 excursions. We are staying in a Crown Loft suite and I see nothing about Barefoot Beach, either. We booked this sailing back in Dec 2018 and when the CP finally started populating it never showed more than 17 excursions. Is anyone else seeing this? Will more show up or is this it? I know in the past I've seen "deep sea" fishing excursions listed for Labadee (on a cruise that we had to cancel).
  24. T minus 22 days and counting until we leave for Anchorage and our Southbound (at T-26). Can't Wait! Question for you all: do the ships in the same class all show the same movies during a particular sailing? Or is it even interclass? E.g., Is Captain Marvel currently showing on all ships? A Star is Born currently showing on just Radiance class ships? Thanks!
