  1. We are currently sailing on Oasis, 7 NTS, Eastern Caribbean Super Mario is hosting trivia!
  2. There is no wet bar sink on any ship. The only sink will be in your restroom.
  3. Disney offers this, or used to, however Southwest was not one of the airlines they partnered with so we could never use it.
  4. Creme Brulee and Baked Alaska.
  5. Too bad we can't resell our current bookings and make a profit.
  6. My husband and son did this excursion in 2019. My husband confirms that there are bathrooms on the boat. Because it is a Royal Caribbean excursion, you have to wait for other people that have booked the same excursion to show up on the bus. They had to wait a long long time. They caught fish and were able to have them cleaned, flash frozen, and sent to our house. We had a box of fresh salmon delivered by FedEx the day after we returned from our cruise. The fishing was was mostly trolling with a little bit of downrigger. They had to wait for each person to have their chance to reel in a salmon. While they would do this excursion again if there were no other choices, we've learned how to book our own spin casting and fly fishing excursions at each Alaska port. Have a great time!
  7. Ovation of the Seas is in Skagway on June 10th. We want to take the Fast Ferry from Skagway to Haines roundtrip. Ovation is scheduled to be in Skagway from 7 am to 5 pm. We would like to take the 3 pm ferry back to Skagway, putting us back in Skagway at 3:45 pm. The time coming back before that is 1pm, which I don't think is giving us enough time to do our thing in Haines. The HSFF dock is in the small boat harbor, next to the railroad, so it is very close to the ship, but I'm wondering if this is enough time?
  8. Hello everyone! EDIT: After reading other reviews and adding costs, it's cheaper, and more allows more freedom to do this on our own. Has anyone done this excursion? How do we get back down from the Skyride (Paradise Point)? Do we take the Skyride back down, or do they mass bus us to the next stop? I'm considering doing this alone, but I wanted opinions on this excursion.
  9. I was on this sailing. Could it have been the juggler guy as one of the "Headliner Act?" I didn't think he was that entertaining. Maybe they kicked him off. JOKE!
  10. Hello all, I am looking for an elevated experience beach day in St. Thomas along the lines of CocoCay Beach Club. We are headed to St. Thomas in February. I'll probably still have my boot, crutches, and knee roller (sigh). Recommendations and suggestions are appreciated.
  11. Hello everyone , My friend and I are headed to Fort Lauderdale for our cruise tomorrow. Since making these arrangements I have fractured my ankle. I am currently using crutches and a full leg boot. Do the ports of Costa Maya and Cozumel have trams, like they do at CoCo key or something similar, that can assist with getting me from the ship to the port? Those docks can be especially long. We have transportation worked out from the port to the beach clubs we are visiting, it's just those long cruise ship piers If necessary, I'll take my knee roller.
  12. I don't cruise for lobster. I can get that at the grocery store. I cruise for the experiences.
  13. I've been away for sometime, so please accept my apologies if already asked. I've noticed that the dining menus are not given in the app anymore. Not even for Coastal Kitchen. Any news on this?
  14. We had a locked door. Nobody would open it. We were in a Crown Loft Suite on 17. We gave up and headed to Jamie's. Now, I love both venues!
  15. Yep. Android here. If I decline TOS, I'm in. If I accept, I'm not permitted to login. SSDD Royal IT is a royal PITA.
  16. I have the Beach Club booked for an upcoming cruise. The current Cruise Planner sale yields a better price. When I went to cancel and rebook, the CP threw back an error that the cancelation failed. I called and spoke with Edgar, who tried but could not cancel it either. I booked it again at the lower price while still having the original, pricier booking still active in my order history. Edgar "elevated" the trouble ticket.
  17. Yes, just dropped for ours. $235.99/person. I can't imagine what the new adults-only area will be priced at. We just returned from a week-long land vacation in Mahahaul, MX (just south of the Costa Maya cruise port). We rented an apartment above the Malecon21 Beach Club. It was fantastic, laid back, low-key, and much less expensive. My men went fly fishing for the slam (Tarpon, Bone Fish, and Permit) near Xcalak for five days. I caught up on my John Grisham reading and enjoyed fresh margaritas, ceviche, fresh fruits, etc. Our daily rate for our apartment was $205, plus whatever I spent at the Malecon21 beach club. I got a better deal with my land vacay rates than the daily rate for the Coco Cay Beach Club. Corona was 60 pesos, Margarita was 150 pesos! It was as good as a cruise, if not better in some respects.

  19. @sleepy425, @asquared17, and @PatsFanBrian The Celebrity sailings don't start at Coco Cay until May 2024, so that can't be it.
  20. Now with Celebrity calling on Coco Cay, I wonder if that's why the Beach Club is not populating on the cruise planner.
  21. Let's go with that! When is your sailing with the visit to PDCC? FWIW, the cabanas, both beach and over the water are available.
  22. We are cruising Oasis OS February 2024 with a stop at Coco Cay. We booked this cruise in the summer of 2022. As of today (6/26/23) the Beach Club Pass has not/never appeared in the Cruise Planner. I'm wondering if this has anything to do with the new adults only area being built at Coco key. Insights, guesses, or opinions?
  23. ^^^^THIS^^^^ So, let's solve this First World problem here! What are everyone's hacks for navigating a Southwest booking? And, what are you criteria to abandon that booking in favor of another airline?
