  1. What does a panda use for cooking? A pan...duh!
  2. You must be doing some Royal math! Friday morning to Saturday night is 36 hours, not 18.
  3. And the OP is yet another "new poster" with a single post ranting about something.
  4. Just tried to go in and add a comment to a roll call (Explorer July 9, 2022) that I KNOW existed previously and it is nowhere to be found.
  5. Back when the entire menu differed every night and they always offered both a hot soup and a cold soup as well as two salads, I maxed out at: Both soups Both salads Three of the four appetizers Two entrees plus the vegetarian option Three of the four desserts
  6. It's really all about what you're looking for in terms of what the ship offers. We don't care about all the bells and whistles, so any cruise ship is just fine. Do we take advantage of some of the bells and whistles when they're available? Of course we do, but their existence doesn't determine they type of ship we book. If you "need" the bells and whistles, skip the smaller ships. If you don't, there are advantages to the more intimate environment.
  7. How in the world would this require the grandparent to sign with notarization, let alone travel to the grandchild's state of residence to do so?
  8. You would be covered under the refund due to protocols because someone in your party cannot travel due to the protocols. Everyone booked together is covered for not sailing based on a single individual testing positive, for example.
  9. Only if your cruise departs from a port on Eastern time. Just checked in overnight for an Alaska cruise from Seattle. The check in DID NOT open at midnight Eastern (that would have been convenient since I was still up after watching the NCAA Championship Game). I stirred awake at 2:20 a.m. Eastern and verified that check in was still not available (app or online). When I was awakened by a clap of thunder at 4:15 a.m. check in was available. Midnight in the time zone of the cruise departure is a more accurate description.
  10. No Crown Royal onboard means that the only way to get a proper Duck Fart on an Alaska cruise is to order it in a bar ashore.
  11. The difference is, you're still here and have posted more than just that single rant about how terrible RC is/was.
  12. Oh, the horror! At any establishment on land, I'd be ecstatic to get a drink in 4 minutes or less!
  13. That's what the trolls do.
  14. At that point, we wouldn't have seen the email until after debarkation. Once the ship leaves port, we are cut off from the outside world until the cruise is over. Guess the only way we'll know about a late acceptance is by not being able to use our SeaPass to access the stateroom after dinner.
  15. hat’s the best way to make Easter easier? Put an “i” where the “t” is.
  16. Where does the Easter Bunny eat breakfast? IHOP!
  17. What kind of music does the Easter Bunny like? Hip hop.
  18. What do you get when you cross a rabbit with shellfish? The Oyster Bunny.
  19. Why was the Easter egg hiding? Because it was a little chicken.
  20. How does Easter end? With an "r."
  21. Where do bunnies hang out? The hare salon.
  22. What branch of the military would the Easter bunny join? The Hare Force
  23. Thank you - but Navigator goes between Mariner and Oasis, not between Ovation and Quantum.
  24. Now that the roll calls aren't just in order by most recent post, you have to go to the specific ship you're interested in first. THEN the posts within the sub-topic are ordered by most recent. The sub-topics need to be alphabetical by ship and pinned in place so the specific ship is easy to find.
  25. Why shouldn't you tickle an Easter egg? Because it might crack up
