We always ask to see the next evening's menu while we wait for our dessert to be served. If's easier than trying to check via the app and as @WAAAYTOOO says, it allows any wishes to be communicated in advance. For example, if a dish that sounds particularly good to my wife other than the almond crust on something (she is sufficiently allergic that there would likely be a medical evacuation), the inquiry about whether it can be prepared separately without the almond crust. If so, she knows what she's having tomorrow. If it can't, she knows to plan on something else.

This is the issue with nearly all unchecked poor behavior by young children. Kids are not perfect (I sure wasn't, my sons not any more so than I was, my grandkids have their out of control moments). When properly supervised and disciplined, even at my/my kids'/my grandkids' worst the behavior was/is either short-lived or the offending child was/is removed from the situation. When unsupervised and unchecked, even the best behaved children will sometimes go beyond what most adults will tolerate and that's when it becomes a problem.

There is plenty of room to enjoy, but one of two ways to get from one end of the ship to the other requires those with asthma and/or allergies to smoke to walk through the unhealthy air. This now means that HALF of my access traversing the length of the pool deck is severely compromised. Want to call it a "control thing," then I will assert that it is a control of my HEALTH thing. I don't care if others choose to jeopardize their own health, but as soon as their actions negatively impact MINE, it's a no go.

My wife did a B2B2B last year. First leg with one son and his wife, second leg with other son and the two grandkids, third leg with just the grandkids. Most of the rooms that handle three also have room for four so it was easy to keep the same stateroom. As @Ampurp85 notes, it's less straightforward going from 2 to 3 than it is going from 3 to 4.

That will be the first time sold out, just like the MTD reservations between 6:00 and 7:00 are now.

There are really three dining times - set early time, who knows what time you'll eat even with a reservation, and set late time. Because there are so many people choosing the "but I had a reservation" option they had to space out the two set times. Moving the 8:30 seating later was probably considered an unacceptable option.

When they do it's a bigger problem.

One step later in the process.

Interestingly, this is MUCH closer to the troubles in Port-au-Prince, Haiti than is the "we can't go there for safety reasons" Labadee.

The more jalapeños the better! Would be true in any case, but it guarantees I don't have to share.

There is no reason to coddle the air polluters. Put them in an unattractive space and leave the open pool deck to those who want to enjoy the FRESH air.

One positive to the new format from the pictures posted is the total cost displaying in the options rather than the per person number.

Currency Exchange Suggestions for European Cruise

Typically the foreign transaction fee is less than the conversion rate difference. Anywhere that takes a card is typically the best way to go. -
Chops+1 is back… with one small problem

My MDR or Windjammer every night is still a better deal than all of those! -
I would also add that the third person you reserve for that room should be a different individual than the child who will be spending part of the week at Mom & Dad's and part at Grandma & Grandpa's.

Ponta Delgada wine tasting excursion

The Azores produce both reds and whites. The volcanic soil will tend to make the wines aromatic and complex. For comparison to more familiar regions, think Sicily and the Willamette Valley of Oregon. -
Integration of RC Loyalty Programs

Plus casino spend on previous cruise(s) to get the discount. Still less than the $3000 you quoted for Celebrity unless you're a REALLY bad/unlucky casino patron. -
Integration of RC Loyalty Programs

Fully aware. That ties in with a previous comment I made about how easy it would be for us to switch to Celebrity IF we got the current vouchers from C&A. -
Integration of RC Loyalty Programs

Many posters keep mentioning that Celebrity prices are higher than Royal. We took a Celebrity cruise in February and the cost for the have it all package (includes wi-fi and the base drink package) was only about $100 pp more than a similar Royal itinerary on a similarly sized ship. Throw us the five D+ vouchers and there's absolutely no need to purchase the upgrade to the premium package (we would just use the vouchers for anything not covered by the base package). If you're going to purchase them, the wi-fi and drink package made the Celebrity option LESS expensive. -
Cocktail Recipes on Royal Caribbean Ships
HeWhoWaits replied to PG Cruiser's topic in Royal Caribbean Dining
Since that's part of the recipe, why isn't it included in the ingredients list on all of these? -

The highest level drink package on Celebrity doesn't cover all the way to those prices, so why would you expect the vouchers to do so? -

This is where the issue of IT figuring it out comes into play. Not exactly a soothing thought. -
If all our D+ perks were available on Celebrity, we would very quickly lean that direction based on our one Celebrity cruise earlier this year. Without those perks, there is still incentive to stick with Royal. Itinerary is still most important, but our experience with service onboard would make me choose a similar itinerary on Celebrity over Royal with the same perks.

Just stick with the smaller ships that give you the connection you desire. We love Freedom Class, like smaller classes, tolerate slightly bigger, don't plan to set foot on megaships.
