  1. Isn't that the part of the dancing that makes it interesting?
  2. Meeting times for excursions are usually 15 minutes prior to the listed start time. And if there are stragglers, you won't always depart at the listed start time. As @SpeedNoodlessaid, there is too much risk of missing the second one. In any case, they may not allow you to schedule both without a gap between the stated end of one and start of the other.
  3. But don't bother at the pool bar. Wouldn't be the same in a plastic glass.
  4. Just make sure the reservations are linked so you can make Cruise Planner purchases together.
  5. I'm a moderator on another board (unrelated to cruising). We have the ability to block/ban IP addresses from creating accounts. If multiple one and done accounts are from the same IP, just block the IP.
  6. Log out and log back in. If that doesn't work, check if there is an update (sometimes the app will prompt you to update, other times it won't).
  7. They didn't have to go with the best type of brandy (cognac) given that some of the flavor will be lost to the other ingredients.
  8. Even when you use a different card for cruise and cruise planner purchases.
  9. As such, this will be a non-refundable OBC so be sure to spend all of it (or cash out via the slots).
  10. Might be a "gift" from your TA. Those usually show up close to sail date or even after boarding.
  11. It's only tacky to wear such a tee-shirt to the MDR.
  12. CAN'T? Or WON'T?
  13. The frequency with which this happens is why we no longer make any Cruise Planner cancel/rebook transactions after final payment.
  14. Another advantage of a paper Set Sail Pass that hasn't been mentioned - it's often easier to use to get your first cocktail than opening up the app to do so.
  15. Same as airline boarding passes. Never trust the app working at the airport. Always screenshot.
  16. If I didn't know better, I would think this post was by my wife!
  17. Because the number was below the threshold to make purchasing the package worthwhile?
  18. One 24 hour period per diamond member. You can "purchase" your free day at any time and it's good for 24 hours, so going it gets you portions of two calendar days.
  19. Between my bad knees and my wife's depth perception issues, this is the exact opposite for us. Up is easier for me than down, and down more than one level is dicey for her to navigate.
  20. For a much better selection than what's available to spend the vouchers on in the Diamond Lounge.
  21. This is definitely an issue. On our most recent Alaska cruise, we were not able to cruise Tracy Arm and Sawyer Glacier because of the combination of fog and sea ice. We were on a small ship (another line) and would have gotten very close to the glacier (as we did in Glacier Bay). The Royal, Celebrity, and Holland America ships scheduled to be in the area that day also didn't enter. Even more telling - it was bad enough that the commercial fishing boats that would have been there were vacating the area.
  22. Is a minivan a must, or would a full-sized SUV be an option. Those are (usually) more readily available.
  23. The reserved car type isn't always available at time of pickup. The rental agencies are somewhat at the mercy of what vehicles are returned.
