you can’t purchase a cruise 2 weeks prior to sailing and expect to get popular excursions. It’s spring break, the ship will be loaded with kids. Of course the water park is sold out.

Not gonna lie, took me 3 days to mostly get oriented on Harmony. She is one BIG girl!!

Wow we were in OS 10640 and experienced none of your issues. The pole was never in the way. I barely remember it being there. The only time our doorbell rang was when room service arrived. Never heard any noise from upstairs, next door, anywhere. I would kill for that balcony again. It was absolute heaven! For me, the only negative was the size of the shower. Although it was not the dreaded space tube, it was pretty darn small and the floor in front of it was always soaked. The floor mat was a useless joke. But I would stay in an OS again in a heartbeat if I could get the ridiculous deal we had again!

We found the shopping area downtown to be a big waste of taxi $ unless you want jewelry. The shops at the port have the same things for the same prices. If we ever go there again, it will definitely be a taxi to a beach.

Ours was not on Harmony last month. We had to go to the Pub to pick them up.

Hard to determine distances on a map. Can you walk from the cruise port to Mambo Beach Blvd beach & shopping area?

I made MTD for everyone for every night. Then adjusted on board as necessary.

Table next to us on Harmony ordered every dessert on the menu, took a few bites of each & left the rest. Wasteful IMHO

Good suggestion from AshleyDillo. Use the Royal form as a template & draft your own “permission slip” omitting where is shows your signature being notarized. The notarization proves the parents who are NOT present at boarding actually signed the document. You ARE present so don’t see why a notary has to attest that you did too.

I though a minor for the purposes of that form was 12 or under? I would try reaching out through Facebook/Twitter (if you don’t have an account I guarantee your granddaughter does!) to @michaelbayley & get a definitive answer. Phone reps don’t know squat.

Guess I was lucky, my kids didn’t care. Come to think of it, my brother & I were the same way. Growing up we lived in a 2 bedroom apartment so we shared a room. After he went off to college, we moved into my grandmothers house with a room for each of us. When he came home for a visit, he still slept on the other twin bed in my room. I don’t think it occurred to either of us to do otherwise. We always listened to music & talked half the night. Couldn’t do that in separate rooms

I’m sorry but those reps are usually wrong. I agree with a PP. Royal should be embarrassed by how little correct information they are able to provide. I think it entirely possible that the person to whom you just spoke was sitting in their dining room. Put you on hold, went & made a cup of coffee and came back with the safe answer which is no. Can you reach out through either Facebook or Twitter? It appears that will get you a faster and more likely correct answer. Please keep us posted.

Where are you cruising from? To? What did you use for ID for on line check in? Really they just need to be sure there is verifiable proof he is who he says he is. You’re already on hold so may as well ask but I’m thinking you have enough proof. Try not to panic too much.

Post on the other boards, wallet lost enroute with all IDs and did not have a passport. Port accepted a photo of his expired DL . If you have his birth certificate, his student ID (has his picture correct?) and his expired passport, that should be good. If however, you are flying be aware he will be subject to additional TSA screening.

Definitely did not stick out. They need to choose a color than stands out more!

There was a first time poster prior to mine saying how much she loved Michelle and that Michelle had a new email address. It clearly directed you to a different agency & I thought it was very suspicious. It’s gone along with my question so I assume it was someone trying to poach Michelle’s clients.
