  1. $73-$78 for our 8 day ABCs on Explorer, too high for us.
  2. No, MTD is only offered in one dining room. Really not any appreciable difference between them.
  3. I also pack a foldable laundry basket (fits flat in the carry on) and a tall kitchen trash bag. At the end of the trip dirty clothes go in the bag and into the checked bag along with any bottles of liquids I may have picked up. Clean clothes go in the carry on with any breakables I bought. Makes packing up that last night fairly easy.
  4. Yeah I apparently never got that “girl” gene. For a week long cruise I bring 4-5 brushed cotton dresses that can be rolled up in a ball and then shaken out wrinkle free, 2 pr of capris, 3-4 tops 2 bathing suits, yoga pants & couple camis for bed, underwear, my toiletries and makeup fit in 1 qt size ziplock bag, brown sandals & grey sandals one color or the other goes with everything. I can easily get that all in a carry on with room to spare.
  5. You mean it’s called something else now?? I spent a great deal of my childhood going over the Tappan Zee to visit my fathers WWII shipmate in Englewood NJ. We always took the Garden State to avoid I-95 in NY.
  6. Signatures don’t show on my iPhone in portrait mode. But I could tell!
  7. Yes but then the Supreme Court would strike it down and half the states would ban women’s pockets.
  8. I was able to tap card to door to access my cabin so yes? RFID chip? I don’t THINK you can hole punch your card on Harmony.
  9. Essentials, used to be for 24 hours now thinking at least 48 hours, for everyone in carry ons. 1 day, and cross packing checked bags, was always my rule. This trip we are flying in 2 days early & 2 days of mix & match in the carry ons!
  10. Or if there are rough seas! We ate at CK on a particularly rough night & I couldn’t eat. Deck 17 moves!!!
  11. No way of knowing if you will have to wait for your drink regardless of whether you have the package or not. Depends more on how busy the bar/bartender is.
  12. My home airport is one of those mid-sized ones. Lucky for me (and others passing through) there’s always a document checker just for Pre-check.
  13. Of course I didn’t get an answer from HIM!!! But the staff overseeing his emails are much more responsive than calling the customer service line.
  14. I wear casual dresses and flip flops every night except formal night when I break out the fancy flip flops normally called sandals with a more upscale dress. Hubby wears nice shorts, polo shirts and his flip flops transitioning to dress pants shirt/tie & actual shoes for formal night. It’s just hubby & I next time. We are foregoing formal night completely. Neither of us has a desire to lug dress clothes anymore.
  15. So will Explorer have it somewhere? I try to give everything a second chance.
  16. Had it on Harmony, it was ok. Nothing to write home to mother about.
  17. So far, there has always been a dedicated document checker for the PreCheck line. Didn’t realize this was not always the case.
  18. Truth be told, I have a maid too but I’m married to him! He keeps the house pretty spotless. His mom taught him well and I learned early on not to get in his way. I do the cooking, most of the laundry, finances and trip planning. He does the rest.
