Oh can I drool over that menu? And can I get the filet AND the duck?!?!? -
??yup this is pretty much an all expense paid trip for son and daughter. Someday they’ll pay for us ??

My (adult) son will be there and his on board account will have my CC attached so I don’t think that will be an issue.

Don’t think so, just robes.

Differences between Royal Caribbean and Disney
Pooch replied to Tricia Smith's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Ok yes, and because they don’t have the casino revenue to help with costs and it would seem that the drinking revenue would be much less on Disney. I am a Disnut through and through but I can’t justify DCL prices. -
But it’s an ala carte menu so if they don’t want the app & dessert that comes with the prepurchase, they can just order what they want? Yes? I am not necessarily looking for the lowest price but for them to get whatever they want. I also assume this can all be charged to my on board account via my son’s seapass card linked to my CC?

So for an individual restaurant (we don’t need either the 3 day or the UDP) there’s no advantage to early booking? And it looks like doing so gives you a somewhat prie fixe menu including app & dessert. I think they’d rather choose an assortment of sushi rolls to share.

Looking to treat the family sushi lovers to a meal at Izumi. Is it necessary to prepurchase this? Can I just make a reservation for them and have whatever they spend charged to my on board account? We will have access to the suite concierge so can I just wait til then & have him/her make the reservation? Is there any benefit to prepaying?

And that’s not a problem. I won’t be on line. Hubby throws his phone in the safe for the week! My brother will likely need to check in at work a few times so he’s welcome to it.

To a total tech dummy. We will all have it free in an OS on Harmony correct? I really am only concerned about checking in for our flights home on SWA. Will I be able to do that? Will I be able to share it with another guest not in my room? Does it work on Coco Cay?

So nice to have you and your generous expertise back. I have missed your practical advice. -
New to Royal Caribbean - sailing in a suite
Pooch replied to starships's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
On lobster night, everyone wants MDR except hubby who would like CK’s seared scallops. So I could ask them to send tails for 4 (maybe 16 tails?) and the Moroccan chicken dish to CK or just the one seared scallop dish to the MDR. I know what sounds easier but…. Would they bat an eye at sending that much to CK? -
Raye, not much of a flasher?!?!?

New to Royal Caribbean - sailing in a suite
Pooch replied to starships's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
It would be nice. Looking at menus I feel like there isn’t a night that our party of 6 would agree on which venue to patronize. Yes we are all adults and can split up but it would be nice to eat a few dinner’s together. -
Ok I bow to better information but still, the OP has almost a full year to renew. Unless the daughters don’t want to renew, I would just get it done. Can you tell I’m a “ducks in a row - don’t leave things to chance” type ??

Can you get room service from Coastal Kitchen ? In an Owners Suite & that might be a great sail away dinner on the balcony! -
If it says 6 months, I would go with 6 months. You have time to renew. Why would you take that chance?

From what I can see, lamb shank is night 7!! Also a favorite of my brother.

I’ve been checking MDR menus from different sailings. Right now Adventure and Oasis are on the App (probably more). The MDR menu is pretty much the same at least between those 2. Days 2 & 3 seem to be flip flopped but are otherwise identical.

If everything goes smoothly and you are all booked, maybe not. But if things don’t, a good TA can shoulder a lot of the heavy lifting for you. They will make the phone calls & get your problems fixed. Additionally, a good TA will also watch for price drops and get your fares adjusted. I really like mine and I used to be an uberplanner (ok still am). I figure out a couple of options, email her & she goes to work!
