Goofyfanatic got a reaction from NS8VN in Gratuity Breakdown
Please remember that while you look at these numbers take into account the number of days off that these workers get while on contract...basically ZERO.
I just don't get the infatuation of trying to figure out how much these workers make.

Goofyfanatic got a reaction from WAAAYTOOO in Casino Rates
The cruise was one on the back of the cert which was a free Balcony (-$1014 x 2) and then the -$615 x2 is the casino rate discount on our upgrade to a Jr. Suite.

Yes, when you put them outside your cabin the night before, you never see them again until you get to your final destination airport.

Goofyfanatic got a reaction from RestingBird in liquor store on the ship
Got the 2 for $310 deal on Johnnie Blue. They brought it down to $300 and let me put a bottle of John Walker XR (1 Litre) and Blue (750ML) for the $300.
Prices were LESS on St. Kitts and I was able to grab one picture to show the RC workers before I was stopped taking pictures by the workers on the island. RC did do a price match (at least they gave me part of it as I couldn't prove the Johnnie Blue price)
In the end I got 2 for $285 and am very happy.

Goofyfanatic got a reaction from FloatMe in Fort Lauderdale Hotels
We just stayed there for the cruise we were just on and I agree that it is very convenient. our only issues were that the check in seemed to take too long (maybe we were just tired) and that the water pressure in the shower was non-existent. We will be staying there in April for our Harmony Cruise.

Goofyfanatic got a reaction from Bazza in Sports on TV?
They were showing some soccer on Allure last week. The espn Channels in the room were the Carib versions. Not much of a selection was on throughout the ship which was aggravating some passengers as it was Champions Week in College Football.
