  1. LOL I think they know you book your cruises with them anyway so they not bother to send you deals?
  2. Call in and update it. I think my uncheck for a few years and I called C&A. Changed a couple things on my preference like receive Promo email and change water to grapefruit juice.
  3. I can confirm that about hidden gem and strong drinks. ?
  4. Thanks, will take me a while to get to Diamond+.
  5. I see why people complain about pricing and I don't think the poster on other board liars. I noticed it myself. I already start on jump ship that why I try MSC cruise and will know how is it in about 80 days. I priced the same date MSC and Royal for my MED cruise and I cannot book Royal. It was double $ from MSC. The price on the MSC cruise is great so I can spend extra money on the food, drink and excursion. However, I still love Royal Caribbean and still looking for the deal on Royal. I find one on Symphony for October and I YOLO it. You still can find the deal with Royal even though harder now a day and if you do not want anything extra like drink packages, special dining, spa or suite that would make your cost lower.
  6. I am at Diamond level. What is an extra benefit over Diamond level?
  7. Mediterranean with MSC Bellissima cruise to Genoa, Naples, Messina, Valletta, Marseille, and Barcelona. April 14, 2019. (First time will sail with other cruises line. Lego land in August before the cruise Caribbean with MSC Seaside on August 24, 2019 Symphony OTS on October 12, 2019. (first time will be on Oasis class) Not sure about Thanksgiving cruise yet but lightly book it.
  8. 5 of us include 6 years old sailed on Anthem during Thanksgiving and a lot of kids on the ship. We did 6-7 times bumper cars, 3 times Northstars and 1-time I-Fly. Bumper cars line sometimes long but not that bad. These activities did without the key. No problem with the show either plenty of room to sit. Just to give you some info from my past cruise.
  9. Agree. Too bad Baltimore port is close to my home. How about big companies dump toxic wastewater to the bay but of course they pay $ to the state so that exception but the cruise ship will hurt the environment. What? (Scratch my head)
  10. They still offer on Anthem when I was on her but offered on the day 6 out of 7 days cruise.
  11. When we sailed from Cape Liberty. We actually not have any Seapass card with us until the room available. However, the Set Sail pass with the barcode act as our Seapass before we got our card and we got the drink with them. HTH
  12. I think she feels really bad from a family member had been diagnosed and now she lost money on a vacation that planning to go. Sometimes, people said something that they should not say when they are in a bad place. I am sure she will get over with it after time goes by. I definitely do not blame Royal for this because Royal is business as I stated in my original post. I just think that he/she got enough bad news.
  13. Thank you to let me know. Great to know that it is part of UDP so we don't need to hunt for the seats at Windjammers. ?
  14. I might be a minority here that feel sympathy for his/her family. So sorry for what happen to you. However, RCI is a company so RCI only does what is best for Company benefit and has rules. The person you contacted is working for RCI, he/she will have to do for what they had been told. I know you feel upset at this moment but this a part of life. Hope things get better for you.
  15. @WAAAYTOOO Do you purchase it or it includes with the UDP? Would be nice if it is a part of UDP.
  16. Yes from the Visa site. It will definitely show up for the reservation # and ship that you input to the form.
  17. I assume you already redeemed the points.
  18. IMHO the Safest way is to use OBC for Gratuity. I will not prepay my gratuity.
  19. If you mean RCI Visa card you will get 2-4 weeks before your cruise. Don't prepaid Gratuity use OBC for it. I did that and my bill at the end of the cruise is really low.
  20. OBC from Credit card rewards normally posted about 2-4 weeks before your cruise. I suggest booking excursions on cruise planner because they are cheaper than when you onboard if you plan to book excursions through RCI. Sometimes you book excursions on your own will be cheaper but not all the case. Sometimes better value to book with RCI because of transfer to excursion will also cost you money. Research what you want to do and check the prices of both through RCI and on your own(With Transfer) then compare.
  21. That is the way I booked my cruise combine price + OBC = cheapest possible. The $300 OBC was a good amount for 3 people/cabin if it is available. We normally prepaid a lot of things like drink, specialty dining, and excursion. (we also not book a suite). We went on the balcony, it really nice but we still like an interior room because the light coming from the Balcony seems to wake us up early.
  22. Price is really important to me. I bought the deluxe drink package one for my husband for 12 days cruise. I feel that it was so much pressure on him because it cost like $700 plus for the package. He drank more than he should be on that trip. I asked him on my last trip on Anthem " Is it Ok if we don't get deluxe just refresh drink packages for that trip?" Since we made to The Diamond and can get a few drinks every night. He agrees and we still have the great trip without deluxe packages. Also, we took 4 bottles of wine for 2 cabins and we took all back home without drinking them. If you can cut the deluxe package out of your trip and just order just 1 or 2 drinks every night that would cost less for you.
  23. I see your point however Ovation OTS can do Alaska cruises.
