Enjoy your blog. I will visit the KSC too on our coming trip in 2 weeks. My husband and I went there once but it will the first time for my 6 years old. I think it will be great for him. How is the weather on your trip so far? Do you see any drink card sales at the bar yet? We both got the refreshment packages and we will get 3 free drinks in the evening like 4 pm-8.30 pm. but I try to make the decision should I buy the drink package for my husband. It is about $26 different/day from what I already paid for a refreshment package.

On my cruise planner list $56 for voom+Deluxe package. Voom Surf+steam is $15.99. We already paid $18 for a refreshment package. A drink card will be great for my hubby. Hopefully, Anthem offers drink card early. Thank you for your opinion ?

No, I only need to buy for my husband. If I call RCI, they will let me buy just the deluxe for my husband but I still need to buy my refreshment package. I intend to keep my refreshment package anyway. Thank you for your opinion. ?

If you are a C&A Diamond member, would you buy the Deluxe drink package??? Just curious !! and might help my decision. I purchased the refreshment packages for both me and my hubby. We love the morning fresh squeezed OJ. I am not a drinker and think the Complimentary diamond drinks would be fine for me but my husband like to drink on his vacation, he might drink 1-2 beers on the cruise during the day and might be one late night drink. I also might need a Voom Intenet a package for my business. I can buy a voom with a deluxe package for him but I just cannot make my decision.

You cannot price match like getting a refund back after final payment date but you can get an upgrade if it is available. The upgrade is not guaranteed either. So just pay when it close to the final payment date.

Stunning pictures as always, especially that sunrise and the overlook along the coastal view. The pineapple greenhouse reminds me of the science channel show "what's on earth?". In Almeria Spain, the greenhouse complex is so big and it can see it from space. I am a science channel fan.

RCI allows you to take 2 bottles of 750 ml wine with you per stateroom. They need to be in the carry on bag with you when the first time you are boarding the ship. However, there is a corkage fee like $15 involved. You can just open the bottle in your stateroom to avoid that fee. You can ask stateroom attendant to brink wine glasses for you and then pour the wine then take it with you. That was I did so I can have my favorite wine.

My Anthem cruise on Nov 17 will bego to the same places but we will be at Orlando from 7am-7pm. and the next day we will be at Nassau 10:30 am - 10 pm. Why so much different?

Sorry that your wife was seasick on the cruise. I was sick the first sea day on Grandeur in April. I had never been sick like that since I took 17 cruises. I took the medicine from the service desk and keep drink coffee or coke so I don't need to sleep all day. This time I will prepare and take some Bonine and Seaband with me. Enchantment 4 night on Feb. 4, going to Disney for two days, and then hopping on the Oasis on Feb. 10, is a really great plan. We wish we can do that. With Nicholas's school schedule no way I can do that. My husband also works in a Corporate company so he cannot take many days off. I have my own little handmade business so I can take any time off with no problem. The Prestige cruises is a killer deal, for that price with airfare. Yes, we went almost all countries in the Caribbean and we want to go somewhere else (sometimes). These are the cruise that we might book. (I still not make my mind). We have never been to Bermuda so we are more toward to Bermuda but water at the beach probably cold in April. Anthem April 13 Sailing to Bermuda & Boston (Drivable & Nicholas's take off school 3 days) Grandeur April 18 sailing to Bermuda & South Carolina (Drivable & Nicholas's take off school 3 days) Symphony April 13 sailing to St. Kitt, St. Thomas & Nassau (Nicholas's take off school 4 days, expensive cruise, have to drive to Miami (15-16 hrs) or fly, and the Caribbean again). Harmony April 14 sailing to St Maarten, San Juan, & Labadee (Nicholas's take off school 3 days, expensive cruise, have to drive to Fort Lauderdale(15-16 hrs) or fly, and the Caribbean again).

There is a free beach in Nassau by catching the taxi to the local beach. I cannot remember the beach name. If you google " free beach or local beach in Nassau" it should come up. You know people posted their own experiences and it did not sound great for me such as a dirty beach, got rob and broken glasses on the beach. There will be 5 of us on this cruise, me, my husband, my 6 years old son, my mother in law and my father in law so a younger kid and older people with us, I definitely will not take them to the local beach. If I not wrong I think @monctonguy went to a local beach in Nassau before and he said is ok for him. He might give you a better feel about the free beach in Nassau than me. Ping @monctonguy Anyway, I opt to pay for excursion instead. Most excursions are expensive in Nassau either you book on your own or through the cruise line. CocoCay is great for everything from beach, snorkel, view and of course jet ski. Hello, 5 of us will be on Anthem for Thanksgiving. Me, hubby, son and my MIL and FIL.

My post earlier was for Nassau Bahamas. After I read your question again, I not sure you mean Nassau Bahamas or Coco Cay Bahamas. Coco Cay, RCI owns the Island so the beach is free and I think you can rent a jet ski. Yes, iFly and North Star have to reserve in advance. However, online booking for both iFly and North Star already close. I could not reserve them either so will need to reserve them when I onboard.

We are going the same cruise with you. I look for the free beach as well but after reading the review from Cruise Critic about the free beach that changes my mind. So We booked Pearl Island instead. It is $90 per person and it includes lunch. A lot of great review about Pearl Island.

If I do not wrong you possible scheduled to sail on Harmony in Feb. I think Zack and Lucy will like Oasis class because a lot for them to do. I am thinking to book either Harmony or Symphony for Easter break. Anyway, I still hesitate about it. First, they are expensive and second, we have to drive to Miami 15 hrs. (Airplane tickets is really expensive) I also think about Anthem for Easter but the sailing is for Bermuda. I think April is still cold in Burmuda. The water temp like 70 F or less. Still cannot make my mind. LOL, your camera is out of my league. For a beginner like me the Nikon 3400 possible good enough.

If you have a kid with you then you can go to Disney World or Universal Studio. LOL don't need to be a kid I love Universal Studio.
