  1. Did you at least get a JS for the double double points? @Matt has vowed to fly past you in CAS points, taking advantage of your family man status. Are you seriously going to let him beat you?!?!
  2. Welcome to the message boards! In these times a good TA has been a sweet blessing.
  3. Perhaps the Radiance mini refresh in 2019 was supposed to change that, but hasn't as far as we know. Vintages hasn't exactly been the forward direction either.
  4. Why should you never tell an egg a joke? Because it might crack up.
  5. The Champagne Bar on Oasis class was the only other bar to get a decent Cucumber Martini. I dare they replace the Champagne Bar with a robot bar on Radiance. It might live on in name for a while yet.
  6. So this thread motivated me to check my cruises again. Today I saved $28 on a Beach Bungalow that was more money last week. Also noted a handful of excursions that had gone up during the sale have come back down to former prices. For these items last week's sale was an anti-sale. Anyways, happy to save $28 tonight. It never hurts to look often.
  7. Take a screenshot or write down the prices of anything of interest. Even after the next sale and you make purchases, keep checking, you never know if the prices will drop again.
  8. Welcome to the message boards! If anyone is in your reservation like your travel agent, a Royal agent or any automated task that touches the reservation it locks it and you can't access the cruise planner. I've had this happen for no apparent reason and then a little later it works again.
  9. It's like weather in the Caribbean. If you don't like it, wait 15 minutes. In this case there will be a number of cruise planner sales before your cruise. Sometimes items drop in price without an official sale. Keep checking.
  10. The amount refunded could be related to taxes and port fees. Those are always refunded regardless who cancels the cruise. Perhaps those were not refunded in full at the time. The only reason why FCC would be useless would be because you are choosing not to sail with them again. That's a choice you are free to make. FCC is quite useful to many of us.
  11. Where do sharks go on vacation? Finland.
  12. I'm not even sure she is stopping in Singapore except to bunker perhaps. She might go straight to China.
  13. I don't think anyone would disagree that this is likely what the CDC will do by keep unnecessary requirements around longer than they need to. In this case the Bahamian scientists guiding their travel policies are proving themselves much smarter than the American scientists in the CDC.
  14. Agreed on both counts but I can see the point when El Coco Fresh is added to a ship and they need somewhere for a Playmakers. If forced to choose between Playmakers and Sabor, PM wins for me. As far as the Champagne Bar that is a loss due to the need to offer whiz bang to never cruised. On any given sailing ~50% have never sailed with Royal. To entice the never cruised they need some things that repeat cruisers may not be drawn to with the same zeal as never sailed with Royal guests. Robots win this one too.
  15. Agreed. Either a person arriving is a risk (unvaccinated) or they aren't (vaccinated). The CDC has already stated that vaccinated are low risk for travel within the US, now they just need to apply the same brush to citizens coming home.
  16. Not a problem. The cruise lines have already said that on-board antigen tests will be included in the cruise fare and will be performed in the final days of the cruise so guests can use them to fly home.

  18. Why do seagulls fly over the sea? Because if they flew over the bay they’d be bagels.
