  1. That's a great price!! I got it on sale for $209, and when it wasn't on sale is was listed as $279. This is for a sailing May 18. One person in my roll call said they paid $195 a couple months ago. But $189! Wow!!
  2. Nice! I'm assuming Brock checked my Anthem group cruise, but since I didn't hear anything I guess no savings for me! I got a super price on my October repo, that hasn't been even close since I booked it last year. Will have to check the other 2019 sailing...
  3. Any Kummelweck-type roast beef sandwiches show up as a treat in Cafe Promenade? I've read varying reports of them showing up one day on non-Park Cafe ships.
  4. Good thing it's a short sailing, and there is a week in between for them to get more!
  5. Maybe I have the date wrong when we got ours...not sure. But ours are definitely older, as they are yellowed. LOL
  6. Since my kids will turn Platinum on their own during the cruise, I'm not going to bother pushing the issue. The only difference is what's on the set sail pass, and it's not like we're missing out on any extra benefits since we still get the BOGO milkshakes. :D
  7. Mine & my husband's cards came in 1992; the boys got theirs in 2003, I think. I wonder why my cards are different than Sabrina's?
  8. I had to go look, here are our cards! One picture is NCL on the top (I thought we had Carnival but apparently they are NCL.) Our kids have never been on NCL. On the bottom is Disney. Not sure why my husband's card & mine are different. Our kids did not receive cards. The RCCL cards are for all four of us. We must've received our cards from an earlier sailing, as they are yellowed, compared to the boy's cards. You can kindof see that in the picture.
  9. Wow; I thought cards were still sent out! I have them from Royal, Carnival, & Disney. I don't think NCL ever sent us cards...will have to look!
  10. Oooo and they are both old enough for the Spin to Win at the Casino!
  11. Thanks!! I started searching but the dinner dishes called and I had to deal with those before I could finish. :D My boys will be very happy that they get BOGO milkshakes!!
  12. We bought passes based on Matt's recommendation AND your recent scopes from there! Looks beautiful, and it's a perfect mix for us, my two college -aged sons, and the seventy-something in-laws traveling with us. I am wondering, do you have to use the food & beverage credit outdoors, or is there a restaurant inside that you can go to? If it's hot that day, I'm thinking my in-laws will want to spend some time indoors.
  13. I know this is an old topic, but it came up in a search and I was curious. Both my kids got their cards after their first RCCL cruise in 2003, they were 4 & 6 at the time. They don't send out cards to kids anymore?
  14. I need to search for a recent copy of the Gold benefits. We (the boys LOL) were looking forward to have 4 BOGO Johnny Rocket milkshake coupons...
  15. I bought a 2 device package as I have to college aged boys with me and they need to be connected to the girlfriends back on dry land. Hope it is worth the money!
  16. We're at the other end of that. They are now both over 18 and I was questioning why they were Gold.
  17. Thank you! That's what I figured was the case, but I've heard people comment that they stayed their parent's level until they accumulated the amount of points necessary to move up. I feel like Hailee said it most recently. I could be wrong. Oh well, while we will move up to Emerald during our next cruise, they will move to Platinum based on their current points. I signed them both up today for C&A online (they are individually wondering why they received an e-mail from RCCL welcoming them I'm sure, knowing they did nothing to initiate it haha) so I could see how many points they had.
  18. May will be the first cruise my kids have been on since turning 18. Their last cruise was in 2015 when they were 15 & 17, so they are now 18 & 20. Today as I'm printing out our Set Sail passes I noticed while mine & Tony's passes list us as Platinum (we'll turn Emerald on this sailing, yay!) both my boys are being shown as Gold. Now that they are 18, do they lose our status? I thought they retained the parent's status level once they turned 18, but had to earn their own points to increase levels past the 18th birthday. So I expected them to be listed as Platinum. Am I incorrect? Edit to add: Their first two cruises were under the "old" points system, so I can't unfortunately count their nights at sea to figure out what level they should be. May have to create C&A online account to figure out what they gave them for points. If you count nights at sea, Tony & I lost 2 in the change over. We had a 10 night cruise that counted the same as a 3 night cruise. Sucks.
  19. I'm reading conflicting reports on whether the Starbucks in the Promenade is included in the refreshment package and coffee card. Can you please confirm? Is there another type of specialty coffee available, if not?
  20. I bought some from CruiseHabit.com; not Boca but colorful.
  21. You can have all the Stella! Leave me some Krakken though...
  22. Adventure still has the Freestyle Coke machines, right? Debating on whether or not to get the soda package for my son.
