We got it for $10 with our deluxe drink on Symphony next May ($75 total)
Just did a last minute booking on Mariner and it also is $10 with Deluxe drink ($71 total)
My shocker was how expensive Mariner is! Lol I expected much lower drink package. It’s only $4 less a day than Symphony.
I think I’m paying for that darn intern’s mistake!

@Matt is on her right now, along with about 80 of our nearest & dearest friends for a wedding.
I saw that last night on Facebook!

Thanks everyone! I booked yesterday with Sharla at MEI for end of October. After the 24 hour cabin hold, the price on the cabin dropped $200! I went with a guaranteed balcony which also was $200 less than picking the cabin. So that $400 in savings about paid for our drink package + VOOM. Added an ultimate dining and we came out at about $1800 for the 3 nights. We plan to “gift” our 6 Diamond drinks each day. That’ll be fun!
Living 2 hours from Port Canaveral, we need to do this at least once a year. It’s a nice “tweener” cruise until Symphony in May plus we get to scope out CocoCay!

Sharla at MEI is trying to get my Symphony cruise moved. RCCL denied initially because I was past 60 days from booking. I’m still MONTHS away from final payment. She told me to email her the denial letter.

We’ve had rip current risks up since Dorian here in NE Florida. Humberto just passed by and the ocean is still angry. Now here comes Jerry.

I booked Mariner yesterday for end of October and nothing yet on cabin assignment. Guess I’ll give them a few days lol. We saved $200 by going with guarantee balcony and it’s just a 3 nighter, so not a big deal. The savings paid for one drink package! Our Symphony cruise next May though I did book a mid ship balcony.

Mine is still $65 on Symphony

My family and I are on the Symphony-of-the-seas on April 11th. I booked it before I realized it was spring break. So I am a little nervous about kids running around. Then I remember, I am on vacation on a cruise. Life is good and just have fun plus more importantly...they are not my kids. So I will have another drink and enjoy!
Here in Florida, spring break tends to be in March. Colleges are usually the 2cd week of March, public schools the 3rd week.
-
It may drop for Black Friday and/or the WOW sale.

It’s different cruising over spring break with your own kids. I don’t suggest it if it’s an adult only trip.
We’ve sailed Oasis twice over spring break with our kids. The first time they were 11 and 17. The second time 18 (her spring break) and 24 (working girl). Needless to say, we had more fun with our “adult” kids as we got them their own cabin across the hall.
Overall it was a full ship with lots of kids but never bothered me. For the most part pretty well behaved.
This past March we were on Freedom with 2 other couples. Groups of kids running around were beginning to get annoying.
From here on out I’m sticking with cruises after Easter and before Hurricane season (June) starts.

hows symphony going? Ill be on her in november and i am quite excited.
I’m super excited for Symphony in May. Have done Oasis 3 times and love that class. It’s supposed to be our first at Diamond unless we book this Mariner.

Thanks everyone! We did a 3 night on Sovereign 20 years ago and it was quite crazy. Although I’ll admit, I was part of the craziness! Lol It was a last Hoorah before I got pregnant with my second, so I thoroughly enjoyed myself!
Still enjoy having fun but now a bit more reasonable! Age seems to do that.

Also would suggest Navigator.. I think they did a better job with the Amp and it leaves out of Miami in Terminal A which is Royal's best new terminal in my opinion..
Miami is 6 hours away. Canaveral is 2. It’s Mariner or nothing. We just want a quick get away.

I’d recommend Navigator instead, it was given a much nicer amplification than Mariner. We were on Mariner in June and August. There was a huge decline in the quality of the food in the MDR from June to August. We’re doing Navigator the weekend of 10/25 and again next June.
We’re actually currently on Symphony right now.
We’re only 2 hours to Orlando. That’s where Mariner is.

Got the itch to cruise. Already booked on Symphony next May. Just did Freedom last March. We’re 2 hours driving to Port Everglades and thinking of a 3 night In October to hold us over until May.
I know it’s been Amped. What’s the crowd like? Loud and Rowdy? Afraid it’ll be like a Carnival cruise. Lol

My recovery cruise was on Oasis in 2017. Each year we celebrate my NED (no evidence of disease) status with another RC cruise. I’m almost 3 years NED, Stage 4b endometrial cancer.
Bob I pray you and your wife will also enjoy a recovery cruise! Glad RC came through for you too!

That’s pretty cool and drink package definitely a deal for me and I was conservative!
It didn’t have champagne (we have a mimosa every morning) so I just added an extra wine.
I’m assuming fruity, frozen drinks on the pool deck count as cocktails?

Harmony could be a placeholder for O5 I'm thinking.
I’m hoping so too! Floating the idea of western Mediterranean 2021 but I don’t want Harmony! I want the new O5!

I complain every time on the survey they send out after your cruise.
Last year on Freedom we had a group of 8. None of us wanted to go to the casino because of the smoke. We wanted to, but couldn’t stand it. RCI lost 8 gamblers on that trip.
Sitting outside the British pub on the Promenade, the smoke comes right up the stairs.
I really hope they ban it.

I’d like to see Phantom. Great Comet 1812 was awesome on Broadway. Really fun show.
-
We did Oasis 3 cruises in a row then did Freedom last year. I did miss Central Park.
However, Freedom’s itinerary was all about the ports. We had one Sea day. (Southern Caribbean).
On the Oasis Class ships, the ship is part of the vacation as much as the ports which is why you get 3 sea days.
Like Matt said, adjust your expectations. You’ll be cruising more for the port experience than the ship.

I don’t think Diamond level qualifies for the 30% off DBP. I believe that is just for D+. Pennies get 40% off.
Thanks I’ve got it booked at the moment at 25% off. It’s Symphony so doubt it’ll get to the magical 30%. Possibly Black Friday. I’ll be on the lookout.

We were looking at the 7 night western Mediterranean for summer 2021 which this past year was Oasis and next year is Allure. I have a slight feeling that the new Oasis Class ship may get this run summer 2021. If so, I’d encourage you to possibly inquire about this, then book your other on a smaller ship. (Unless you want b2b same ship)
Your son would have a blast on an Oasis Class.
Id stick with Royal because of your Diamond status and more likely to have younger crowd.

RC has all of mine going back to 1990.
I did find this just by searching RC Port Canaveral 2008. Just type in each year.
