Yes all staterooms were refurbished. No more "box TVs". They are all flat screens. New bedding and carpeting too.

Like Marc said, you could gamble that it will drop again. Hard to say. Of course you could book today and the price would jump again up and you would feel better about it, right? Look at this way, an okay priced cruise is still better than an expensive cruise :)

Some of the best balconies are "hump balconies", which are balconies that are on the part of the ship that jets out if you look down on its deck plan. The reason they are preferred is because these balconies are substantially larger than other balconies but there is no additional cost. I had one of these balconies on Jewel of the Seas and it was amazing how large it was.

Ah, ok that makes more sense to me. I'm okay with this policy just because you grab towels when you leave the ship and when you return, you deposit the dirty towels on your way back in.

Best use of special characters ever :P

I ran into this very problem and here's the problem: there is no inexpensive option. Best choices are renting a car and finding a hotel where you can park for the week or some shuttle. RC offers a transfer but you have to fly in the day of the cruise, which I never do.

Royal Caribbean does a lot for holidays and New Years is a big one. You will really enjoy it if you like ringing in the New Year with a bang

No plans that I am aware of. You are correct CocoCay has a lot of issues with sea conditions being too poor for tendering. I've been luck to had no problem the one time I went there.

Not a bad plan. It's funny, in all my cruises I think I've sat down to see one movie in the theater and that was because poor weather turned port day into sea day.
