  1. If you can get a drink package below $60, that's a steal of a deal. Below $70 is already a good price
  2. 11:30 am is no problem at Orlando, especially since Utopia docks exceptionally early (so does Icon).
  3. Royal's internet uses Starlink, and it's quite reliable and fast (unlike DCL). So yes, worth the money IMO.
  4. Here's my experience in London this past summer: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2024/08/26/how-to-get-over-jet-lag-before-cruise And here's how I got to Southampton: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2024/08/26/boarding-my-cruise-ship-england-was-easier-most-cruises-the-united-states
  5. Yes, but not directly. I mean, you don't go to the casino cashier and say "I want to use my $100 OBC here". You just charge the amount of OBC you have to your SeaPass account. That charge is negated by your OBC and thus, you've "used" your OBC at the casino
  6. poo-pourri is a must pack https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2025/01/16/travel-things-bring-cruise-under-10
  7. I think Royal is viewing it as setting them up with the very best offerings for any Caribbean cruise. Icon Class doing 7 nights Oasis Class doing 3 and 4s. I don't think they look at it within the scope of a class. They look at it like a football team. They want the best team out there, not just the best linebackers (I dont know if this metaphor makes sense LOL). Cruise fans pay attention to these details, but the general public doesnt. They come into it with the mindset "I want to book a weeklong Caribbean cruise" or "I want a weekend cruise".
  8. Harmony and Oasis doing short cruises. Lots of others too
  9. Definitely a folding umbrella stroller. The cheaper and lighter, the better
  10. We recently compiled winning RoyalUp bids in an article: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2024/08/21/royal-up-winning-bids
  11. I don't understand why make a Sky Class version of JS to not include WiFi
  12. They also responded in about 38 seconds after submitting the quote
  13. I can never remember which ships have AirPlay or not. Utopia definitely doesnt, as I looked for it last week
  14. You can get a second room card from guest services. Annoying to have two cards, but that's the only downside
  15. Onboard voom prices from last month
  16. Thank you! If it's you approved, then I know it's good and expensive.
  17. I've done the train twice, but the lack of luggage space is really concerning because my family travels like the Army of the Potomac. Each time I've gone, there's been suitcases stacked up in the entryway.
  18. I dont play Mah Jong, but I'll be on the ship!
  19. Can anyone recommend a car service to use in London? I need to get my family + luggage from our Airbnb in London to Southampton
  20. Can anyone lower than Diamond post examples of pricing they're seeing?
  21. I'm seeing low $60s for my cruises too. Pretty solid deal
  22. That might be a limitation of the site. My first instinct was to wait to book onboard, but of course you run the risk of the day and time you want selling out. You could book 3 appointments in a row and then go onboard and ask them to move them around to be what you want. But I don't know if that's a thing.
