  1. That's right, on Oasis and Quantum Class ships, the limit is $13 per drink.
  2. No, kids get a different set of benefits because they are children. If they were adults, yea.
  3. Based on that response, I'd first try to see if you can reserve MTD via Cruise Planner site. It's certainly faster than calling RC. Try booking one night at a time, and then checking out before selecting another night.
  4. Top Tier Crown and Anchor Society: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2015/01/03/cruising-101-crown-and-anchor-parties
  5. I'll book it for Harmony GC, oh wait....
  6. Not certain if the Windjammer buffet will have prime rib. There are some MDR menu items that are available in Windjammer, but it's not a total copy. One strategy you might employ is to go to the Windjammer before your meal to eat something so you're not starving at dinner in the MDR. In terms of special request from Giovannis, I'd suggest going to Giovannis at least 24 hours before your meal and making a request. I'm sure they can accommodate the person in your group, but you just need to give them a heads up for your upcoming reservation.
  7. You mean a printed menu, right?
  8. So when you go to the Cruise Planner and you go to the Dining section, do you see options there? Specifically, do you see My Time Dining reservation option?
  9. I think you're taking that comment too literally. I read it as a joke, meaning they are dealing with something logistically, so they came up with a tongue-in-cheek answer for why we need to wait so long.
  10. Here are some fun things to do in Old San Juan: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2015/04/14/things-do-old-san-juan
  11. I'd have to send @monorailmedic. I don't eat shrimp or crab, which nearly all of the sushi you make is comprised of. Granted, he is a vegetarian, but he's been known to compromise his values when it comes to sushi
  12. You'd be surprised how popular those services are.
  13. I often joke that relaxing days on a cruise ship make for very boring live blogs
  14. If it's not on the prohibited items list, I don't see why that would be a problem.
  15. I wrote a blog post about what the basic differences are between D1, D2, D3, et al: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2016/07/14/staterooms-what-are-the-difference-between-royal-caribbeans-d1-d2-d4-etc-balcony-rooms In terms of the placement of the bed/closet, it tends to alternate. So one room the bed is by the balcony, and the next the closet/couch is near the balcony. Then repeat ad infinitum.
  16. He has a story to share about this
  17. Branzino. I've had it everytime I ate there LOL
  18. By the way, this thread topic will be the name of my punk cruise rock band's first album, "Power Strips and beverages".
  19. When you get onboard, check the activities board near Guest Services. There's usually a regularly scheduled Friends of Bill W meeting posted.
  20. Welcome Katie!
  21. I love the low minimums on RC. When I go to land casinos, it's always tough to find them.
  22. Wow, that is a really ambitious plan!
  23. Which ship and how many days until your sailing?
  24. I was told "Second quarter 2017", which is what we're in now. Remains to be seen if that's still the plan.
