Here is a video tour of stateroom 6648 on sister ship Independence of the Seas (should be similar, if not identical)

1st timer with a few questions I can't figure out
Matt replied to shannonk's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Boarding is usually around the 11am hour. Earlier you get to check-in, earlier you will board. Not a big deal, you can always inform your stateroom attendant on day 1 how you want the beds set up. Alternatively, you can have your Travel Agent convey your preferences. You can have your travel agent add it to the reservation notes. -
You should be able to at the very least re-price on Liberty and if cheaper/better deal, book it and then cancel what you have. And yes, MEI would be able to roll it (back) into the group. NextCruise essentially gets you free money(onboard credit) on top of whatever promo they are running at the time. So you would retain the regular promotion + NextCruise bonus.

Which stateroom #?

When I cruises from Tampa, I just parked in the lot across the street

They are not included in any beverage package

I try to track the menus across the fleet here: http://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/menus

Sorry to hear about that inconvenience. You might consider arriving to the port a bit earlier than 5:30. There is a bar (Grills) nearby that you can see the terminal and ship from. Better than waiting in a hotel room.

As I recall, there is one outlet at the desk. Well, one US outlet and one European outlet. I do recommend investing in a USB charging device, like this one: http://amzn.to/2mmW116

I didn't see anything in my GS on Navigator, but I wasn't looking for it either.

Based on what we know right now, it looks like Symphony is going directly to Barcelona.

"Caribbean Night" Dress Type? - Freedom
Matt replied to cruise's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Think Hawaiian shirts. Honestly, few guests adhere to it, mostly because I think most are unaware it is a thing (including me). -
In general, dropping someone from a reservation or changing names is easy. Adding people to a reservation is difficult and can/will change price. My advice for anyone that might need to add someone in the future is to put a dummy name on the reservation at time of booking. If you do want to add that person, change the name. If not, drop the person. But that avoids re-pricing the room to add someone later.

Brilliance of the Seas 4 Night Western Caribbean Review
Matt replied to chodnett's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
That stinks. One thing we try to do is avoid rooms that have public spaces above or below the room. I don't always follow this rule (our GS had the pool deck above us on Navigator, but no noise issues), but try to when possible.- 8 replies

Welcome Haley! Did you even read my Seafood Shack restaurant review from 2010? That's the true test if you made it all the way around ;)

One bit of advice for anyone that booked last night, I noticed my C&A balcony discount was not applied at the time of booking. I called back today and had it applied. Double check what you have booked to ensure it's there, and if not, call back to have it applied. Now I remember why I use a travel agent to book these things! :P

Same here. I just want to see it listed in My Cruises because it makes me feel warm and fuzzy. Obviously not much to do with the reservation 600+ days away  -
I am so glad to hear you both found the blog useful. I can't wait to hear about your experiences when you return...and which cruise you booked next!

Yes, precisely. Bayley specifically noted the negative coverage as a compelling reason to skip the UK for Symphony.

Welcome Pete! That's quite a commute you have between WA and Australia! Welcome Hilary! Great Bob Dylan reference!

I booked two Symphony sailings last night by calling. By now, it should be available via web site for everyone.
