tawill Posted September 11, 2018 Report Posted September 11, 2018 We will be sailing our first RCL cruise in December. I tried to look at my online account this morning and got a message "The requested reservation is currently being modified. Please try again later." So, I have tried again tonight and get the same message. Can anyone tell me what this means and why I'm getting it? Thanks in advance for any assistance. Quote
BigRTraveler Posted September 11, 2018 Report Posted September 11, 2018 I have only seen this when my wife and I are logged into my account from two different locations. Normally when one logs out, the other can then edit the reservation. Doubt this is the issue.....have you called RCCL? Quote
WAAAYTOOO Posted September 11, 2018 Report Posted September 11, 2018 There is an IT "glitch" that gives you this error message if you are logged into your My Cruises account and try to go to the Online Checkin. Wait about 15 minutes and then, instead of logging into your My Cruises, go to the "Already Booked" link at the top of the home page and log into your cruise that way. Quote

Good idea. When I encounter this sort of issue, it's best to stay off the site for a little while so you can be logged out by the system. Quote
tawill Posted September 11, 2018 Author Report Posted September 11, 2018 I've tried that and still get same message. Called RCL and didn't get much help. So guess I will wait and try again this evening and maybe try calling RCL to see if any better help can be given. Just frustrating since it worked until yesterday. Quote
Orange Crush Posted September 11, 2018 Report Posted September 11, 2018 Completely close any browser windows on all devices you've used to log in. Even if you don't have a page open, there could be a zombie process hanging on & keeping something tied up. Quote
Baked Alaska Posted September 11, 2018 Report Posted September 11, 2018 Also, clear cookies, etc. If you use chrome, ctrl-shift-N will give you an incognito web page. Try that, too. Actually, I'd try that first. Quote
tawill Posted September 11, 2018 Author Report Posted September 11, 2018 Was finally able to get to it using different browser. Thanks everyone for help. WAAAYTOOO 1 Quote
DDBright Posted September 11, 2018 Report Posted September 11, 2018 I was active in my Cruise Planner account earlier today and now can't get back in. Is anyone having a similar problem? solved. Went incognito on Chrome. Must be the cookies. WAAAYTOOO 1 Quote
