Megan_Rae
We are staying at a hotel in Orlando. My GPS shows that it's 50 minutes away from the port. We are doing a 3 night cruise. Would it be cheaper to park at the hotel and get a taxi to the port or should we just drive to the port and park there?
twangster
Is your hotel in Orlando charging for parking? Taxi isn't going to be cheap, much more than parking assuming a 7 night cruise. Uber/Lyft is $60-$80 each way. Parking at the port will resemble airport parking rates but it is convenient - load up your car and hit the road. arebee
Park here, https://www.parkcruise.com/ only minutes to the port and they run buses every few minutes. We park there every time, half price compared to the port. Never had an issue.
Matt
Depends how many people you have. Driving yourself is certainly simple enough, but it really boils down to how much the taxi fare will cost both ways and how much to park in Orlando. fonemanbob
There is nothing better than walking off the ship and to your car and getting on the road under an hour after the ship has docked. I am referring to doing the carry off of your luggage. It also is a great feature if you are flying doing the luggage carry off. Bada Bink, Bada Boom . And away we go. No more silly numbers games.
