CHart Posted September 18 Report Posted September 18 I was checking to see the price to upgrade my offer code from a Junior Suite on Harmany Feb 2, 2025, offer code: (2407C02A). The Junior Suite rate was more expensive than then a 1 Bedroom Grand Suite and a Crown Loft was an additional ~$750 total! It may have helped that I added a person on the 15th for just the taxes/fees. But I am excited! Sky Class benefits again! michelle, Pattycruise, WAAAYTOOO and 4 others 6 1 Quote
LandstromCruise Posted September 23 Report Posted September 23 Wait, so if I currently have a junior suite offer booked on Harmony on the sailing the week after that I could call them now and see if there is still an upgrade offer and a chance it might be able to upgrade to a grand suite for nothing? It’s not an upgrade offer , you can check online to see the price difference from your junior suite to the category you desire. If you like that difference -free if it’s currently less than a junior suite, or perhaps a small amount of $ to go from JS to next category, you call club Royale and ask about changing your cabin. If first guy quotes you something you are not seeing thank them, hang up and try again. CHart 1 Quote

EXTREMELY low chance, but yes. Sometimes a higher level room will be priced lower than your current room, hence you can upgrade for free since the cost of the new room is lower than your current room. The more realistic scenario is you keep calling every so often to see the upgrade price to a higher level room. Then when the price is something you are comfortable with, you pull the trigger. You can also do this multiple times on the same sailing to keep upgrading if the price keeps coming in at a level you like (i.e. upgrade from interior to oceanview, then sometime later from oceanview to balcony, then sometime later balcony to jr suite, etc.) CHart 1 Quote
AndrewOfTheSeas Posted September 24 Report Posted September 24 I just booked a 'Free Cruise Certificate' 9 night sailing last week for March next year. Added 2 children and upgraded from Interior to Spacious Balcony on Serenade of the Seas, the upgrade cost was roughly $1000. After reading this post, I called up the Casino team today, they told me to upgrade to a Junior Suite would be a further $6500. Suffice to say, I said thank you, I'll keep the booking as it stands CHart 1 Quote
LandstromCruise Posted September 26 Report Posted September 26 I was able to go from my free junior suite to a 1 bedroom grand suite on Harmony for $446. Considering it comes with the internet that would otherwise would purchase I felt the upgrade was well worth it so took it! Considered going for the CLS, but it was going to be another $1K on top of that so I didn’t do it. billdauterive, WAAAYTOOO and SplashOfWater 3 Quote

The price difference between the 2 now is $1400/person. Hoping the crown loft will come down some and can upgrade again for minimal amount. Quote

So, its cost $2000 to go from Interior for 2 people to Junior Suite for 4 people, not too bad for a 9 night sailing! $9000 a few days ago, total cost for me $2000 (plus casino play of course!) Thanks to all of you in here, I would have not even called without this knowledge! Have a good one guys! LandstromCruise, Traveler, CHart and 2 others 5 Quote
