Yes, because when you re-price, you are essentially cancelling and rebooking, which means you lose your booking incentives.

So when you booked before, you had $200 OBC but under this deal, that $200 OBC is not offered.

Thus, you're better off with what you have.

I'd rather have hard dollars off the price of my cruise than onboard credit personally.
