Suzy85
In researching options for transportation from my hotel to Port Canaveral on embarkation day, it appears that a shuttle is the preferred choice for most people. I am staying at Homewood Suites close to the port. They offer a reasonably priced shuttle. Cost aside, is there a reason not use Uber or Lyft? Is it difficult to get one there on embarkation day? smokeybandit
Shuttles are nice, but if you're in a hurry to get there, you are at the mercy of how the hotel boards people. Uber and Lyft are fine alternatives.
Ampurp85
I also noticed that some of the shuttles get more expensive. If you are close to the port your standard Lyft/Uber will be at or around $20, that is the pp at some hotels. Like Smokey said, you might also be waiting longer and arrive later. A new station closer to the port was just announced last week but will take a couple of years to complete. In the future the answer is yes, currently the answer is no.
