I have a spa appointment at 1pm, so I called the 800 number twice. 1st time they hung up on me, 2nd time they bumped me to 1230 (not reflecting on my online info when I checked) saying that will be enough time. The answer to your question is almost certainly, "yes" but there are some ports where the arrival time is more strictly enforced. The only possible reason for them to adhere to arrival times would be if there is a Coast Guard inspection or some kind of abnormal complication to boarding day. That is rare. Go for it ! If you get there too early before they are boarding passengers, you will be seated in the waiting area after you have checked in and they will allow you to board in the order you were seated.
