Me, hubby and kiddo have had this one booked since it was released over a year ago, so we've been patiently waiting lol. We’re booked in a Central Park Interior View that we got a steal on a very long ago and we’ve never had a room like that so we are happy with it. Bill OH Posted March 29 Author Report Share Posted March 29 Got my Royal Up bid anbd have it submitted.  My experience so far, post covid with the Royal Up is limited. Once pre-royalup we got a cruiseday upgrade to a JS on Freedom. We had a GS for Enchantment in 2022 so I don't think we got any Royal up bid. On Mariner back in 2022 I did get a Royal Up bid, we were in a Balcony cabin and when the notice came I found the min bid for a JS was more than what the current difference was to go to suite guarantee, so we did that. That gave us the double points and put us at Diamond +  Being at Diamond Plus, the not getting the double points doesn't bother me any more as we will likely never make Pinnacle.  This cruise is a retirement cruise so while we just booked a balcony guarantee, I did put in significant bids for all cabins above ours.  OCSC Mike, CruzOnBye, WAAAYTOOO and 1 other 4 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

CruzOnBye Posted April 5 Report Share Posted April 5 Hey everyone, not sure if yall noticed but entertainment is open for this sailing. I've checked the App everyday and it shows unavailable still. But I happened to go on the website this morning and everything was open and available except Late Night Comedy shows sold out. You’ll find us at the pub having our customary boarding day Stone IPA… We got screwed at Check in! (overly dramatic)  I stayed up passed midnight on check in day, but Royal's IT Department pulled some issue out of its bag. I have been using the same password for the Royal site and App for 5 years or more. The night of check in , it told me my password was wrong. I was too tired to try and correct it, so I got up the next morning and sure enough thousands of us had to change our passwords. I now have a 11:30 check in. We are always get on the ship quickly type of people, so this hurts CruzOnBye, WAAAYTOOO and OCSC Mike 3 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You won't stand in the garage for an hour. We parked in the garage around 9:45am last month and walked right in (with a 10:30am arrival time, not that anyone checked). We did manage to beat the start of boarding but that just meant we sat in the upstairs waiting area for maybe 10 minutes... and we were not remotely close to the first people there.
