I think it's still a term, I knew what they meant by "rated", or at least assumed it was the same thing as earning points. 

BTW-Rough Saturday for both of us in the MLS.

What I can tell you is that my wife likes playing 3 card poker and I play blackjack. Even though we play the same amount of time she always earns double the points I do. Of course I play minimum bets and increase slowly and I have no idea how much she’s betting per hand. 😌

Casinos usually factor in house edge and how much money you actually put through the table/machine. This is why slots get you so many more points from what I've read. The house edge is larger and you can make a new bet (spin) every few seconds. Even if you're betting $25/hand at BJ, at a crowded table, you can only play so many hands per hour. That stuff matters.
