I have always wanted to do Hawaii too.  But because Royal Carribean only does re-positioning cruises through Hawaii, timeslots are limited and most start out or end in Canada, which makes for a long trip with a lot of Sea days -- more than I am willing to do because I only have so much vacation time from work.  This is definitely on my bucket list, but it will have to wait until a time when I can actually take off for two weeks straight from work.

You really aren’t going to have really a choice of ships as the RCL cruises that go there are repositioning cruises that only happen twice per year. It’s either the timing of the repositioning works for you or it doesn’t. Choice of ships is something that is more for Caribbean and Europe sailings. Alaska has 3 ships usually, but that’s about it.
