RayV
While we can't be sure of the weather in advance, our concerns are for the four $200 access passes paid for the CoCo Cay Beach Club and whether there is a refund policy. The 14-day report suggests a day of heavy storms. Do we have any recourse?
Ryan79
If the Club is open, you will have no recourse. If it is closed, you will be refunded. You won’t have any recourse if it’s open and the weather isn’t to your liking. Rain is very normal in the Caribbean and are rarely more than 20 minutes or or outside or a hurricane or tropical storm
OCSC Mike
Don’t trust the forecast 14 days out. It’s often inaccurate the night before you get there. Baked Alaska and WAAAYTOOO
ChessE4
Check weather 3 days before cruise and cancel if you don't want to risk it. There just no guaranteeing weather on vacation. But it can be fun to be with others in a storm... Baked Alaska and OCSC Mike
smokeybandit
The odds of having heavy rain wipe out an entire day in the Caribbean are quite rare. The only time I went to the beach club it absolutely poured....for about 10 minutes. Then it was back to business as usual. The worst we've had in our 8 or so trips to CocoCay was a downpour around 2pm that was bad enough for us to take shelter in Chill Grill for a bit. Since we weren't staying much longer anyway, we waited for it to let up a little then got a little wet walking back to the ship. Forecast the night before? 80% chance of rain all day. It was sunny until that 2pm rain. Baked Alaska
