mais316
We are sailing on Independance in December. We're stopping in the Bahamas. Are passports required to visit that Island?
SpeedNoodles
As long as you have the proper documentation to board the ship, you have what you need for the duration of the sailing. Al Miller and Ryan79
Paid4c4
If you had documentation enough to board the ship you have what you need to visit the islands. However you are always better off to travel with a passport especially if you become ill and have to be hospitalized on an island. Also you could through no action of your own miss the ship and get stuck in a foreign country without a passport. Bill MikeK
CrznTxn
If you decide to apply for passports you need to do it immediately. The wait time for passports can be quite long. Exception is to go to the county passport office and expedite it. ChessE4
ChessE4
But don't send in your only birth certificate at this point. Get another official copy so you can board if passport doesn't arrive in time. Okgladgal
