JNS123
Going to Alaska on Quantum this July. Any tips for a better trip?
Villageidiot
Are you flying into Seattle? If so be sure to use the free port express for your luggage leaving the ship. Goes straight to the flight and you pick it up at your final destination. No overweight baggage fees either. This service is offered by the port of seattle. So essentially once you’re off the ship, they gather your flight information, take your bags to the airport, hand them over to the airline? What if there’s baggage fees? What if there’s baggage fees? You put out your checked bags the night before as usual and they take them to the airport for you. You don't have to handle them again until your destination. https://www.portseattle.org/page/port-valet-enjoy-seattle-luggage-free Peter D and VicB

I’m not sure how it is done if you don’t take care of it in advance but you can prepay luggage for most airlines at anytime.
JennG010203
The baggage fee will be charged to your account onboard.

But even though I’m not banking in winning any of my RoyalUp bids, should I wait until it’s a for sure that my room won’t change in order to use the Port Valet service? Villageidiot
You sign up when you board the ship, usually at guest services. Then they bring you the luggage tags the night before you get off the cruise. They take the bags to the airport for you and check them in. Great service
