ECYW Posted March 20, 2023 Report Posted March 20, 2023 Hi. We are from PH and we booked a cruise in Singapore. My husband and I want to exchange our rooms but we can't edit the names on the website guest info (booking was made directly into the website). Tried contacting via email in the Singaporean branch email but no reply yet. Any info or advice for us? Thank you. Quote
Mathias Posted March 20, 2023 Report Posted March 20, 2023 Royal Caribbean can't be contacted via e-mail. Or they can, but they likely won't answer you. The best you can do is calling them if you want to be in contact. RCs customer service on the ship is usually great, on land it's bad/none existing. Pro Tip! Transfer you existing booking to a good travel agent. Then if you want to change or update your booking, do it thru your travel agent. Then they will be in contact with RC on your behalf! Saves you a lot of time, money and trouble. Quote
Matt Posted March 20, 2023 Report Posted March 20, 2023 If you have 2 rooms booked and all you want to do is swap who stays in which room, you can just do it onboard. Go to guest services and ask to have keys swapped. We've done this when my wife is booked in one room with my kids and I'm booked in another, but we want to move kids into one room and me and my wife into another. ECYW and Mathias 2 Quote

Do they allow swap between a suite and junior suite? Quote

Ampurp85 Posted March 24, 2023 Report Posted March 24, 2023 I still believe they require at least one person staying on the original booking. So I don't think you can completely swap cabins. Quote
Dicey Posted March 26, 2023 Report Posted March 26, 2023 There will be someone staying in the the other room. We are traveling with our 8 month old in May. We each have a junior suite from the casino and booked separate rooms with one of the the grandparents as each our guest. We upgraded one of the rooms to a suite and want to change it so that we're in the same room (suite) with the baby and the grandparents in the junior suite. Quote
Dicey Posted March 26, 2023 Report Posted March 26, 2023 our concern is if there will be any issue if the person comped for the junior suite that the grandparents will be staying, if switched, will not be staying that room. Quote

They won't care who is in the room when onboard, just get duplicate keys at Guest Services. However whoever is officially booked in the full suite on paper will be the ones with the Suite benefits.
