Ultimate Caribbean Cruise 15/1/23 to 29/1/23

As a diamond member, not too far from plus. Not a novice.  Since covid these ships appear staffed with dozens of inexperienced workers, especially in restaurants.  Evening dining was so poor our party 2 UK 2 USA only dined three times at planned time.  RC failed to properly join our bookings despite numerous requests.

after five days, the ship began to run short of our favoured beer, then on 6 had none, likewise the second and third choice ran out within a week. Poorly provisioned. No resupply during this lenghly trip.   Thank goodness for chops grille that we used several times and a very tiresome windjammer.

the Central American trips were what appealed to use. Cartagena and Costa Rica did not disappoint, the Panama Canal was excellent, but avoid Portabelo trip. It has two forts, comprising four walls, some old canon and little historical value for hours of bus travel escorted by armed guards through contested roadworks.  RC requires to rethink its Panama tours as other trips, except the canal reported poor results on board.

one of our most expensive cruises, but I would not say best or value.  RC is pairing it to the bone and it shows.
