Sunny_D
Sorry, I’m sure this has been answered somewhere before but I’ve done several searches and haven’t found anything. Our upcoming cruise will be our first one with the DBP. How is this indicated on your card? I’ve seen both a sticker or something printed on the card as answers on RC’s website. And if it’s something like a sticker that has to be added, where do you go to get it? Is it automatically put on at check in, or do you have to stop somewhere like concierge once onboard? Thanks so much for your help!
JohnK6404
Hi @Sunny_D! Usually, if it's purchased through the Cruise Planner before the sailing, it will appear on your SeaPass card... my card from this past week... If it's purchased while onboard they will place a sticker on the SeaPass card (one of our friends purchased onboard). If it is missing for some strange reason, you can probably go to Guest Services (possibly generate a new SeaPass) or to any desk/kiosk that is trying to sell the beverage packages during embarkation day (for a sticker). As a reminder, you will not have your SeaPass card when you first board. They will be in an envelope outside your stateroom tucked behind the cabin number plaque. However, all you will need is your stateroom number and they can look it up and confirm that you have the DBP so you can use it before you collect your SeaPass cards. Have a great time! Your boarding pass (electronic or paper) will also indicate what Bev package you have if bought beforehand, and you can use that prior to getting your Seapass card

DX for unlimited and CK for soda.

I know, strange... they usually reflect that, but it wasn't on any of our SetSail passes from last week (see the pass above). Regardless, they will know from the stateroom. Found an older sailing back in 2021... shows the DX code...
mistertomatohead
Does it matter? They run your card each time, right? Or do they sometimes get lazy and just give you a water or coke without putting the card through the system? Sometimes they might do that because they know you have the package so it might be hard to tell what's happening.

Most time they will just ask room number. But having it displayed on your seapass is a help. JohnK6404

Sometimes they might do that because they know you have the package so it might be hard to tell what's happening. As @Ampurp85 just mentioned, we found over the last couple of sailings (in most cases) they really don't need your SeaPass card (onboard or CocoCay especially). Makes it convenient when you're around the pool deck or solarium to not have to carry it around everywhere. They just type the stateroom into the tablet or register and the pics of everyone in your cabin plus the drink package status, etc., pops up. Cool security measure for sure! They will sometimes ask you to confirm your name(s) beforehand. We always had them with us somewhere (tote bag, etc.) just in case, but never had to produce them at any bar. The only place we found that required the SeaPass was in Labadee. Our experience was specifically at the floating bar on Adrenaline Beach... they do not have WiFi connectivity and literally used pen and pad to record our purchases!
