nemrac917 Posted January 5, 2023 Report Share Posted January 5, 2023 I see from some posts here that if you have the Key, you have the option to drop of your luggage for them to deliver to your stateroom, so you aren't lugging it around while waiting for your room to be ready. Xaa Posted January 5, 2023 Report Share Posted January 5, 2023 The difference on Key is it will be delivered and placed in your room and be there for sure. Checked luggage while boarding is delivered in the hallway outside your room (or someone elses room) and may take several hours. We usually try to keep it to backpacks - DD has used a rolling one, and it was a pain with so many people milling about. We head straight to a previously chosen destination for out of the way people watching, last sailing it was Vortex night club. One of us (usually me) stays with the luggage while the others explore. It's not long before the SL or our embarkation lunch venue is open. We usually stay there until the cabins open. Drop our bags and muster first thing.
