Rebecca84
If you are vaccinated, but not boosted, it seems as though you need to be tested before getting off the ship in Greek ports. Do they do this onboard or do we need to do it before embarking?

You need to do it before you board In our recent live blog from Athens, there's a good description of the process https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2022/06/28/rhapsody-of-the-seas-live-blog-day-1-embarkation-athens-greece
SailingSomewhere
Great blog Matt, but what about the Odyssey sailings out of Italy with port stops in Greece?

Note at the bottom of the page it says a $55 cost.
Rebecca84
Thanks everyone!! Does anyone know if they will allow us to take a test in the US right before we leave instead of paying the $55?
Traveler
Just to clarify, it's seems to be a cruise thing as Greece do not ask for even the basic vacation if you fly in.
Carotthat
You don't need anything to step on greek soil. WAAAYTOOO

Unfortunately that is not what it says in the Royal FAQ, which of course has room for error if it's not been updated. If I were the op I would look in the Roll Call group pages to see if you can find a sailing that has a port at Greece and ask current passengers how the testing works, if it is indeed needed. Does a week old test work? Does it have to be the day before arrival? So many questions. You could also search FB groups for current sailings and ask there. We've been 4 weeks ago on the Greek Island Cruise. No tests needed. Pattycruise
