Current options from Venice Center to Porto Corsini (Raveena)

2 people from Venice center (Plaza San Marco) to the port Brilliance departing Sept 25th 2022. At this point see only private car or train. Will RCL be offering anything?

I am assuming they will have transfers from the ship to central.....  it would seem there would be a return to ship.

We are doing the opposite.  Our Rhapsody cruise ends in Ravenna on August 1 and we are flying out of Venice on August 2.  We (3 adults)  booked a driver (with a mini van) through MyDayTrip.com.  A bit pricey but hoping to meet another couple on the ship who might want to ride along and split the cost.  BTW, we are staying at the Marriott Courtyard near the Venice airport.

You could use RCL transport to the airport and taxi to your hotel, or book the Padua tour and do the same when they drop you at the airport.  The problem is getting to and from Venice central. RCL at this time doesn't think that a "VENICE CRUISE" should include Venice. Odd to say the least.

You can call RC to book a shuttle from the city of Venice to the port for around $58 pp. They offer shuttles from Venice airport, Venice city center and Bologna airport.

we are booked on the Venice cruise from Raveena at end of July. 
we are going to amalfi coast (Pariano) after the cruise for a few days. 
Does anyone know what time the RCL cruise shuttle gets back To Venice airport on the day the cruise gets back?

i think we will take a train to Naples from the airport and just trying to figure out the timing for tickets.

@Beachgirlwhy go all the way to Venice? Seems unnecessary to travel north for several hours just to backtrack all the way down to Amalfi. Leaving from Bologna would be shorter travel distance, and likely wouldn't involve changing trains.

It really wasn't RCCL's (or any other cruise line's) choice.  It had been an ongoing political discussion in Venice for many years.  There is a large local faction that believes that large cruise ships pose a detrimental impact to the environment of the Lagoon...and, for years, they have been cutting back the size of ships that can dock in Venice.  There have also been proposals on the table to build alternative crise ship facilities on the mainland, but, so far, no movement.  So, Ravenna became the nearest port allowing cruise ships the size of anything in Royal's fleet.

We are sailing on Explorer in September, flying in to Venice and out of Bologna. We were able to book RC transport (bus) from Venice train station to the port, then from the port to Bologna airport. I think it's about $70 per person per leg....Seems pretty reasonably priced!
