You can call RC to book a shuttle from the city of Venice to the port for around $58 pp. They offer shuttles from Venice airport, Venice city center and Bologna airport.

I personally didn't like the Hollywood area very much, it can be visited in a couple of hours. In general the city is very lonely and abandoned. I recommend you visit the Griffith Observatory and Beverly Hills. Visit parks like Universal Studios and the Sony and Warner tours if you like tv shows and movies. Also DEF Santa Monica and Interstellar waffles.

It's weird that there are not even shore excursions to Ravenna itself.

They offered (to me on the phone) both Venice airport or Venice city to cruise shuttles, and the app gave us the option to check in until 7pm (which we did not choose). However, the hours in which the shuttles are offered don't work for evening check-in and it would take forever if taking the train so doesn't work either. In my case this option does not work because I arrive at the cruise from Bologna. It seems crazy that they don't offer any options to visit Venice

I already asked about this and they said it's not possible to check in on day 2, however you can check in until around 7pm on day 1. How is it possible that they offer shuttles from Venice to Porto Corsini on boarding day but cannot offer them the next day from Porto Corsini to Venice? there must be a way!

Hello! The train between Ravenna and Bologna is a 1hr ride, very cheap (15 EUR for 2 ppl) and the Bologna train station is next to the airport. Hope this helps!

Yes we've called RC several times and they've repeatedly said that it's likely that excursions will be added for that day closer to the cruise date. I guess we'll have to wait a couple more weeks to hopefully have more information!

Actually from Porto Corsini it looks like it's a 2 hour drive
