Hi Susan, there is no shuttle service between Ravenna and Venice. Currently, I am planning to rent a car and drive round trip.

As an alternative, if there is no excursion offer from RCL, you could rent a van and drive to Venice and back to cruise ship. Since your group is 5, why don’t you organize the trip. We will happy to share the cost associated with it. 9 passenger will do.

So, do they provide shuttle service from Venice City center to Port Corsini on day 1? We paid pre cruise transfer fee $58 each person already. We can keep our stuff in locker and spend day 1 at Venice and check in before 7 pm. What I am getting from RCL is you have to check in day 1 before 4 pm. And their shuttle service is only run airport to sea port. Not from city center to Ravenna.

The other alternative is asking RCL to check in on June 7 instead of June 6. Stay June 6 at Venice at your own expense.

Sorry guys. The responses from RCL sources is not helpful. They can only provide tour in Venice. Transportation to and from Ravenna to Venice cannot be provided. What we need is shuttle between port Corsini to Venice.

I am awaiting Rcl response to my inquiry. It has been almost a week now. No respond. Did you guys contact to RCL shore excursion dept? We need to know when is the earliest we can leave from the ship. It doesn’t make sense without visiting Venice while ship is docked whole day at port Corsini. I did go to daytrip.com to see how much it cost one way from port to Venice. It turn out $320 for 4 person van. I am hoping RCL will provide shuttle with cost. I am arriving Venice airport 9 am and booked for transfer to ship by RCL shuttle at 10:30 am. We have two people joining cruise on June 6. Ship leaving on June 7 6 pm. There is no shore excursion from RCCL when I called and checked out on excursion website. Is there any interest persons to share with us to hire a van day trip to Venice. Hoping to leave as early as 6 am. Each way took about 2 1/2 hours drive.

I am joining RC On Jun6. Embarkation day is June 6 and sailing date is June 7. Spending two days at Ravenna port (so call Venice). Cruise line should manage to setup shuttle bus between two cities. It is 2 1/2 hours drive.
