I didn't want to hijack that thread so I started this one. I will be in Cozumel and Costa Maya in about 47 days. What are the specific rules imposed by Mexico for masks outside? Matt Posted September 27, 2021 Report Share Posted September 27, 2021 Basically you wear a mask outdoors and indoors. I'd recommend finding the most breathable mask you can find. I love my KN95 masks, but I would never wear those outside in Mexico due to the humidity. Both times we went to a beach resort for the day (Nachi Cocom and Paradise Beach), we were able to remove the mask once at the resort. But we wore masks in the taxis, and while walking around the port area and downtown Cozumel.
