I've cancelled our 4 night Caribbean cruise aboard the Brilliance and am re-booking using my FCC's. I'd like to not have to wait a whole year to cruise. When is a good time, i.e., no hurricanes or rain, and not broiling hot?

Between Thanksgiving and Christmas tends to be a good time.  Crowds are lower, hurricane season is close to over, and travel prices are cheaper in those inbetween weeks.  The temperature is pleasant, water is still warm enough.  Right after New Years through the beginning of February can be good as well for the same reasons, but it tends to be colder and the waters can be rougher then.

The first 2 weeks of January are usually pretty cheap, as cruises go.  Obviously, you must avoid New Years, but after that, it is usually pretty good.  The only negative here would be if you are flying as that is the depth of winter and flights present an additional risk.

Thanks so much!
