andydlucas Posted April 25, 2016 Report Posted April 25, 2016 Hi Can you pre book Uber for when you disembark (14 days in advance) or do you have to book it on the day? I was kind of hoping that the car would be waiting for me as i got off the ship. Quote
WHStoneman Posted April 25, 2016 Report Posted April 25, 2016 There are a number of reasons that you can't depend on the debarkation time... i.e. fog, bad weather, Customs....and on and on. You will have your cell phone with you and when you are "released" you can call for your driver. Naas 1 Quote
DocLC Posted April 25, 2016 Report Posted April 25, 2016 It may also depend on the port as Uber can often drop off, but sometimes the drivers have issues accessing the port for pick-ups. Quote

But what time you actually will be at the curb can vary greatly depending on a variety of factors. Quote
Rich T Posted April 26, 2016 Report Posted April 26, 2016 Does anyone know Uber's access ability for pick-ups at Port Everglades / Fort Lauderdale Port? I will be disembarking on Sunday and want to Uber to MIA. Quote
WAAAYTOOO Posted April 26, 2016 Report Posted April 26, 2016 Rich, unless things have changed recently (and they may well have), Uber could only drop off at PE...they weren't permitted to pick up at the port. Others who monitor these things more closely may have more current information. That's just what I recall from previous posts. Matt 1 Quote
