Cruisinkpek
Excited to be going on Oasis of the Seas in May! However, we (myself, my husband and our 2.5yr old) need some help in terms of good places to stay the day prior to our cruise. We are flying in to Newark on Saturday, May 23rd for our cruise on May 24th. I know that some recommend staying near the city, but with the 2.5yr old, I don't think we are going to do much NYC touring. We typically travel with a carseat, so that should not be an issue in terms of Uber/taxis. Would prefer something close-ish to the port, potentially with breakfast/near some restaurants. Any suggestions? Thanks! Neesa

Mikeb1892
There's always IKEA! It's right next door to the airport. Gotta love those meatballs. Not a place to stay but a good time passer.
Matthew Smith
We are going on the Oasis in May also but an earlier sailing. We are also flying in on saturday for a sunday cruise. We found amazing reviews for the Best Western Plus next to the airport. Transportation to/from the airport is provided too. Looks really good. https://www.bestwestern.co.uk/hotels/best-western-plus-newark-airport-west-31049 Mikeb1892
Hagar
Ramada Plaza suited my needs but I scored a good price on it a couple of years ago
