PRC
Been on Freedom 6 times, never went hungry! I haven't dome the MDR for a long time so I can't comment, but all 3 specialty venues (Chops, Giovannis, Sabor) are always good. Johnny Rockets is what it is... good. Sorentos...well technically its pizza, wouldn'd win an y contests on land, but it always seems to hit the spot while onboard! Cafe Promenade... cheesecake lollopops and Led Zepholes are addictive! Also, if they have it, the little chicken roti sandwiches are awesome! Windjammer is always good and quite big on variety. You WILL leave heavier then you came! arebee
We just got off the Freedom in November, Always liked Chops. Sabor was good. Try the tequila flight or a margarita, the don't disappoint.
DocLC
Consider the main dining room for lunch on sea days. They have a great salad bar set up in the center of the dining room where they'll build a custom chopped salad for you; they also offer some good entrees off the menu. cjappert
thank you everyone! we're sure we wont leave lighter that's for sure! We got a 5:30 dining time in the MDR, but wanted to see what other options were out there!

PRC
I board her again in 4 weeks. I'm going to try to limit myself to one Sabor visit, but I'm not promising success!!!!!

George
Does anyone know if there are any type of specialty dining packages being offered on Freedom?
PRC
For my next sailing on her (May 22), the online cruise planner shows 3,4, and 5 night packages. Basically make 3,4,0r 5 reservations and get a reduced rate.
Floski
Considering what we could get elsewhere on the ship, and the (not that significant but still) upcharge, I was very disappointed in Johnny Rockets. My burger was just okay, and I didn't like the fries at all. I was wishing I had gone to the Jammer. Sabor, however....
janza
Chops is always excellent. The bacon appetizer is killer. Matt hooked us onto Sabor. I won't be on a ship that doesn't have one!
